I'm rooting for Akanksha: Pooja

The youngest member of the Indian idol group is also one of the biggest pranksters of the lot. A dab hand at mimicry, she loves to make others laugh. And on the second day of the piano round, Pooja proved that she can take even the toughest blow with a smile. We talk to the vivacious singer from Kolkata moments after her vote off. Did you ever think that you would have to leave Indian Idol so soon? I was not expecting anything because you can never be sure of anything. My outlook was—jo hota hai dekha jayega. How has your experience been on Indian Idol? Excellent. Absolutely brilliant. I feel that after Indian Idol I can face anything. I''m very thankful to Anant sir [the voice trainer]. He worked very hard for us and put his heart and soul into all 30 of us. I also made good friends here. We are all very attached to each other. I can never forget this experience. Is there anything that you are taking away from this experience? I''m taking away confidence. I have never participated in any reality shows before. I hope after this, wherever I go, I''ll have the confidence to give my best. Is there any one person that you will be rooting for? There are so many whom I think deserve to go all the way to the top—like Rajdeep, Bhanu, Ali and, of course, Akanksha, who is my best friend. But if I were to root for just one person it will have to be Akanksha. I love her very much. What are your plans now?

Well, I''m in Class X. I have to get back to my studies in Kolkata. But I will continue to pursue music and I will participate in more shows.

👏absolutely....one has a lot to learn from her...infact she was rooting each contestant be it boy or girl i imagine how she must have felt to be out so soon
