Bona I don't even understand the process of collecting TRP's how can you know what a whole nation is watching at one particular time. Every street, every house, even the far flung areas or slums they too have tv's. Bas kuch posh localities ko administer ker liya TRP's concluded that's rubbish in my opinion.

What the hell a handful of ppl on the list and they consider this All India rating there's limit to mockery. So what if those handful don't like a soap for a certain track and start watching it after they've been stopped monitoring. My theory of these monitorizations being limited to posh locales stands valid. And so does my belief that these TRP's are bogus.

These AMAP trps are damn useless. 🤢 I checked this AMAP site a long time ago. The meters to record which programmes were watched are only installed in a tiny fraction of the population....this is no indication of what the actual viewership numbers are. 😡

The TAM trps at https://www.indiantelevision.com/tvr/telemeter/teltamarchmon.php4?year=2008

are more widely used by the channels and production houses. But since these are published 2 weeks in arrears....the AMAP trps are the fastest (and only) available trps to indicate (I use this term very loosely)viewership for the previous day.
