Written Update of today's (13/10/08) Sangam episode
A recap is shown of Thursday episode.
Kaveri and G are sitting at the hospital wondering on the whereabouts of S when a lady sitting near them tells them to pray to God as when you are unable to understand anything then you should leave it all to God. Kaveri and G agree with this and go to the hospital mandir.
On the way to the mandir, they meet Shubod who tells them to go as he will go to the police station and get RM. Because of the accident it is difficult to get taxis.
At the mandir, G prays in her mind for S well-being and says that she would happily trade her life for S and He should give S back to Kaveri.
At the same time, Kaveri is praying to God and telling him that she will happily trade her life for S and to please prevent her world from being destroyed as S is her life.
S finishes praying but sees Kaveri still engrossed in her prayers. She decides to wait so sits down.
The punjabi girl with S comes and takes her shoes off. She puts her bag next to G and goes to pray for S life inside the mandir. She beseeches God to give him his life back.
After she finishes praying, she leaves. She forgets her bag next to G. G chases her but she is unable to catch up with her. As G is chasing the woman, she overhears a nurse saying to a doctor that the patient in ward 404 is conscious and is calling for G repeatedly. G is shocked to hear this. G approaches the nurse to verify that the patient is indeed saying G name. G is overjoyed. She asks the nurse to take her there.
Bua and Puttan are discussing S 'supposed' death and are buying white clothes in preparation for the funeral. They are talking about all the famous people that will attend the funeral and how they will have to make a good lasting impression on them. As they talk about S being dead, Bua spots Gudiya standing there. SHe is crying. Puttan scolds her for listening to grown-up talking.
Gudiya runs off downstairs. Shanta enters and they embrace. Bua and Puttan who have followed Gudiya see Shanta and are surprised.
Back at the hospital, the nurse takes G to S room. She runs into the room. S is lying on the bed calling out G name. G smiles. She runs toward him and sits beside him. She grabs hold of him hand and begins to cry happy tears. The Sangam theme song begins to play. G notices G wedding ring and lets go of his hand slowly. She wipes her tears. G tells an unconscious S that Shubot and Kaveri and everyone have all been worried about him and she will go and tell them the good news. She leaves the room.
G goes to where everyone is sitting. SHe is unable to say anything but S name. Kaveri gets worried as to what she is trying to say. G smiles and RM realises that S is well. G nods and smiles.
The nurse comes to ask them if they are the patient family as there are forms to be completed. RM tells them all to go and see S and he will complete the forms and come.
As they enter the room, Kaveri and G are on either side of the bed. Shubot is standing beside G. Kaveri tells S that they were all worried about him. S looks around the room and enquires about the girl. The family don't know who he is talking about. He tells them that she came with him. The lady is standing outside the room listening to the talk.
Everyone is confused as to why she left without saying anything. Kaveri says that if she ever sees her then she will thank her for saving S as she is an angel for them for doing so.
The doctor comes into the room and tells them to leave as S needs rest. They all agree and leave the room.
Back at the house, Gudiya is sitting on Shanta knee and discussing S disappearance and the possibility of him never coming back home. Shanta consoles her and tells her that he will be fine and will come home soon. Shubot rings home and is surprised to hear Shanta voice. He tells her that S is well. They will come home soon. Shanta tells Gudiya that S has been found and they will be home soon. They embrace.
Back at the hospital, the woman who came with S is on the phone talking to someone. She says that it is not possible for her to meet S yet but she has told him everything. She tells the person on the other end of the phone not to worry and whatever happens she will surely break the marriage.
The episode ends on her determined face.

Comments: I am so glad that S disappearance wasn't dragged out for too long and it seems his memory is fine too. I know there were some predictions about the possibility but to no avail. This show track cannot be predicted as whatever is predicted doesn't come to pass. I wonder who this girl is and whose marriage she intends to break - S or G's? Will S have told her everything about his love story with G? What new direction with this show take now? Its getting very interesting. I would have enjoyed a partial memory loss track with S. It would have been interesting to see unfold. How would have G coped with it all? I am hoping that this woman is a positive influence in regard to S/G love and somehow reveals their love and gets them together. I can't wait to see what happens tomorrow.
