Mataji , Kingji agrees with you . Perhaps her Hindi is limited to complaints and scoldings only.
But I am glad that she spoke up.
She had problem in talking about Cricket with Kapilji. Adi came in to help.

In defense of Asma, when you are a second generation NRI and Hindi is not your first language then even if you have spoken it at home your life, it is very difficult to speak it properly with proper conjugations and the use of appropriate formalities. Most kids will tell you that as soon as they are back in India for a few weeks, suddenly they start speaking like a native (while having an Indian accent when speaking English) and then again when they go back to their home country, they again go back to having stilted Hindi. I am sure that listening to Hindi all of the time, has improved her HIndi and she was able to speak it well during that exchange with Tarun vs. being nervous in front of a guest.

I write poems and stories in hindi. My hindi is fine. But I can't speak it properly. Same goes for my bengali. I get stuck after every few words. But I do know what every word means. I am not sure if Asma can speak it or not. But her main problem is the pronounciation. And she is facing world's biggest obstacle there.

I expect Asma's Hindi to keep improving. Now she is providing a lot of fun and laughter. Of it has nothing to do with singing.

But all this laughtwer and drama is a great distraction to serious singing. But okay for Bollywood hits.

I like her hindi the way it is. She sounds so cute with her mixed up genders and expressions😆 I don't want her to improve her spoken Hindi. It's part of her charm.
