Why did Krishna go to Mathura?

I dont know & I couldnt understand why did Krishna all of a sudden go to Mathura?

Lord has some missions in his every avtar. Killing Kans was one of those. Kans sent a invitation to Krishna to come to Mathura n show his bravery there. Moreover Gokul people also came to know from Akroor that Krishna is real son on Devki n Vasudev n not Yashoda n Nand

Acc. to the serial Shri Krishna, Kans realized that instead of going to Gokul to kill Krishna, he must call Krishna in MAthura...... Akroor was Vasudev's friend and also, he was planning a coup against Kans with the help of KRishna...but when Kans ordered him to bring back Krishna from Gokul , he was shocked bec. he thought Krishna was too young to fight with Kans..He sought the permission of Devki who was forced to say yes to it bec. Kans had warned to kill Vasudev..

Akroor was sent to Gokul to bring Krishna back..There, he told Nand and Yashoda that Krishna is not their son but Devki and Vasudev's..They didn't believe him initially but Rishi Garg told them the same truth..Krishna, Balram some gop and Nand baba all went to Mathura ..Kans had planned to kill Krishna in Mathura in many ways..but all of them failed and ultimately Kans was killed by Krishna..
