Human relationships are very complex. Does a formula for a perfect relationship exist? How essential are love, lust, aggression, jealousy and passion in a relationship?
Actress and singer Rajeshwari Sachdev holds forth.
Love is a feeling that is very difficult to describe. I believe in love, because it makes you grow in a relationship. Life becomes very difficult without the presence of that someone in your life.
Lust is an attraction towards someone. It is the initial stage of love but not love. It is a temporary feeling. It disappears with time.
Jealousy is a part of love. But it should be in a positive form of love. It should not be such as if there is a competition with your partner that makes it unhealthy and creates rifts. Jealousy diminishes as and when trust grows, it's a part of growing up in love and relationship.
It is a complete put off. There is no future in a relation when the partner is aggressive because it means that he does not have any tolerance or patience in himself. It is a scary feeling.
No passion, no fire in a relationship. Passion is something that creates a lively atmosphere in a relation. It is fun with closeness. Basically, a relationship should have a combination of love, lust, passion, jealousy.
