Heres the Hiten-Gauri Article - Source Mumbai Mirror
With the film and television industry on strike yesterday, Hiten Tejwani spent the entire day with his lovely wife, Gauri Pradhan. And they weren't the only ones enjoying their day off. Several film and TV show shoots were stalled due to the strike.

Dharmesh Tiwari, President of Federation of Western India Cine Association said, "The movement is not to create any problem to anybody but to tell the people that things are going wrong. We had informed producers a month ago that if they do not meet our demands, we will go on an indefinite non co- operation movement."

Programming head of Zee TV, Ajay Bhalwankar said, "Yes there was no shoot at all. But we have some episode banks for this week. I am sure there will be some solution when both parties will sit together. We have sent a letter to the Federation. We wrote to them to sort out the problem."

Film producers like Vashu Bhagnani, Ratan Jain and Mukesh Bhatt also had to cancel their shoots because of the strike.

Mukesh Bhatt, Vice President, AMPTPP said, "In a day or two, producers and people from the Federation will sit together and solve the issue."

According to a trade analyst, the non cooperation movement will cost a loss of at least Rs 20 to 30 crore.
