Recap:
The pandit tells SK that it is the Maha pandit of Matarani that is against him!
Yash is pacing back and forth and thinking about what Moksh said about Gauri – that no one is taking care of her.
He talks to a picture saying he hasn't done anything to SK because Gauri is with him. But, now that he knows that Gauri is not being taken care of, he will take a move and punish him for his sins.
Vaishnavi is polishing all the stuff for the puja.
Choti Bhabhi comes to helpher.
Yash is walking in a rage.
Vaishnavi is getting everything ready for the first day of Navratri.
Yash is thinking about punishing SK. He says that they should not think that his silence is his weakness.
Vansh is getting out of his car. He is happy to see Yash. Yash asked in a rage if SK is at home.
Vansh invites him in and Yash says he will not come in until SK is at home.
Yash tells Vansh not to tell SK that Yash came to the house.
The family is getting ready for Matarani's puja. There are several murtis and pictures of Matarani.
Vansh is sitting and watching the preparations.
SK is in Bhadharwa, and the gates to the temple are closed on him.
The pandits stop him from coming into the mandir.
SK is upset, and he is going to call his childhood friend to fix the problem.
Vaishnavi is singing bhajans.
Vansh is really enjoying the bhajans.
Even Sanyukta is happy and praying.
At the same time, the pandit is doing puja and arti in Bhadharwa.
Vansh says to Vaishnavi that this year, the puja of Matarani has made him so at peace.
CM says that this year, Vaishnavi will do the arti of Matarani. But, before doing the evening arti, Vaishnavi will tell a story of Matarani.
The family is serving food to everyone.
Vansh invites Vaishnavi to eat with them, but she says she is having a fast and will only have jal all day and this is her practice since a child.
Vaishnavi is reading and the rest of the people come back to the house and start to sit.
Vaishnavi tells about the first day of Navratri – (having a difficult time with the Hindi here)
Indra and the gods were losing the war against the demons.
They call Matarani and she says that she will be born to Maharaj Himachal in the form of Sher Putri.
At the house of the Maharaj, a rishi is telling about the auspicious birth of a girl – it is their daughter who is already born – but there she will marry with Shiva (not sure who it is) who she will not be able to live with (that's what I understood – please forgive me if I didn't understand the Hindi well).
There will be a girl born who is a bhakt of Shiva.
At the temple of Shiva, a young girl is worshipping (the child version of Matarani).
It is the rajkumari and she keeps asking to hear the Shiv Stuti over and over.
The Maharani comes and tells her to come with her, and tells the pandit that she is not allowed to worship at the Shiv Mandir.
She says that she is trying to stop the destiny of her daughter. She tells the daughter to forget Shiva.
Indra and the gods are wandering and trying to find a way to solve the problem of fighting the demons.
The rishi tells Indra that there is a girl who is born who will marry Shiva.
Indra says how is this possible when Shiva will not take a consort? He is deep in the mountains where no one can find him.
In the mountains, a rishi is asking Shiva to leave the mountains so that people can worship him.
The Maharaj is refusing proposals to marry their daughter Gauri. The Maharani is upset about this, but the Maharaj says that she should fulfill her destiny.
The grown up Rajkumari (Matarani) says she has never refused any of your orders. She says it's her destiny to be the wife of Shiva, or else she will stay unmarried.
The gods call Kamdev and ask him to try to get Shiva out of meditaion.
Kamdev takes a bow and arrow, and aims at Shiva.
The arrow turns everything from snow to flowers.
He aims again, and strikes Shiva – everything turns back to snow.
Shiva is out of meditation, and Kamdev begs for forgiveness.
Shiva opens his third eye, and sets Kamdev on fire.
Kamdev explodes.
At the palace, they cannot find their daughter. The pandit comes and says that she came and said she is going to the Himalayas to find Shiva.
They go and look for her.
Gauri is climbing to the Himalayas. She braves the snow, and starts to chant the name of Shiva – she is in meditation, and nearly frozen.
The Maharaj and Maharani find her, and the Maharani begs her to leave. But, the Maharaj says that she cannot stop her destiny.
A rishi comes and tries to bring her out of meditation. She tells the rishi that she wants to become the wife of Shiva.
The rishi laughs at her, says that this will never happen, and she should leave her meditation.
She tries to stop him from saying these things to her, but he continues to say bad things.
He says, it's better that you stay unmarried because you will not get Shiva.
She breaks out of the ice that she is in, and gets upset and curses him.
The rishi changes to Shiva and reveals himself to her. He says that he accepts her meditation.
She asks for him as her husband, and he says she would be lucky to have her as a wife.
They do the night arti of Matarani.
Vaishnavi starts to see visions of children asking for help.
They are asking not to be beaten.
She sees the sign of where the children are.
Episode ends on Vaishnavi's face with worry.

Comments: It was a really nice episode, and the next 6 are going to be great as well as they tell stories of all of Matarani's forms during Navratri.
