FF: Santa Cruise Pg7 Pt5 Updated 13/11/20

It was a cool Sunday evening in Mumbai. Kanya Kapoor was quietly sitting and sipping her cup of coffee. She looked at the clock. She was getting upset coz her friend Shanaya had not yet come from Australia.

Kanya (thinking)- Shanaya toh hamesha late hain. Kabhi bhi ttheek time pe nahin aati.

Just then the phone rings.

Kanya- Hello? Kanya Kapoor speaking!

Voive- Hey Kanya!!!! Shan here!

Kanya- Shanaya? Pahunch gaye ho kya?

Shan- Haan baba! Taxi main hoon.

Kanya- Ttheek hain. Baad main baath karringi.

Shan- Okay bye! See you!!!!

They both keep the phone and Kanya gets back to sipping her coffee.

An hour later there is a knock at the door. Kanya drags herself to the door and opens it. Shanaya hugs her tightly but Kanya doesn't hug her back. Shanaya is very happy to see Kanya but is disappointed by her reaction.

Shan- Yeh kya Kanya?

Kanya- Kya?

Shan- Tumne aisa kyun kiya?

Kanya- Maine kya kiya?

Shan- Hug kyun nhain kiya?

Kanya- Mann nahin hain.

Shan- Awww! C'mon Kanya! Kya mann nahin hain?

Kanya- Mann nahin hain matlab mann nahin hain!

Shan- Okay-okay! Anyway'''

Kanya- Jaake nahalo! Main khana order karti hoon!

Shan- Khana order karne waale ho? Kaha se?

Kanya- Chicken Plaza.

Shan- Tum non-veg khate ho?

Kanya- It relieves me of stress!

Shan- What relieves you of stress? It isnt good for your health. Neither is smoking.

Kanya (looking worried)- Smoking? I don't smoke.

Shan- Kanya please don't lie. Two months ago when Kripa came here she came to meet you. She came to know. And she told us. Please Kanya don't do this to yourself!

Kanya- Shanaya please don't teach me what to do. Yes, I smoke so what is your problem?

Shan- Kanya you shouldn't hurt yourself like this.

Kanya- Shanaya please! Now go! I will order chicken!

Shan- No! I will cook.

Kanya- Okay I will order vegetarian okay?

Shan- Good. Bye. Main nahake aati hoon.

Kanya- Okay.

Shanaya goes inside the bathroom and has a bath. Kanya orders vegetarian food from a restaurant. Then she lit a cigarette and smokes. After a while Shanaya comes out.

Shan- KANYA!

Kanya (dropping the cigar)- What?

Shan- Why are you smoking?

Kanya- I told you its my wish!

Shan- Kanya please. After this cruise you are coming with me to Australia.

Kanya- No I am not! I don't want to come between you and Ayaan and what cruise? I told you I am not going for that either!

Shan- Kanya please. Ayaan and I arent going to marry for atleast 2 years.

Kanya- So?

Shan- Anyways I have bought four apartments in my complex!

Kanya- You want me to live in three houses?

Shan- No silly! One for you, one for me and one each for Sonia and Kripa!

Kanya- Sonia and Kripa? Joke!

Shan- Kripa told once she delivers her baby she will come! And Sonia told that she will definitely move in within a year!

Kanya- Whatever they do I am not going!

Shan- Kanya you will have to. And then the cruise.

Kanya- I am not going for any cruise!

Shan- You are!

Kanya- I so am not!

Shan- Kanya you will. So you wont huh?

Kanya- No I wont!

Shan- Then I will jst have to tell you the truth!!!!!!!!!

Kanya- What truth?

Shan- I am suffering from brain tumour.

Kanya- What?

Shan- I have very little time. I wish that I could spend my last few days with my friends. All of them.

Kanya- So why isnt Ayaan coming?

Shan- I havent told him. I don't want to get hime tensed. Understand!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kanya- Shan I am sorry.

Shan (breaking into tears)- Kanya promise me that you will come to the cruise and also to Australia. Promise that you will quit non-veg and smoking. Please.

Kanya- Shan''.

Shan- Kanya please.

Kanya- Okay.

Shan- Okay? You mean you will come?

Kanya- Absolutely!

Shan- And you will quit smoking?

Kanya- Promise!

Shan (Wiping her tears)- Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kanya- What yeah?

Shan- I was fooling you!!!!!!!!

Kanya- Shanaya KHER! How dare you? I am not coming!

Shan- Yes you will! You promised!

Kanya- So? I will break it!

Shan- You cant! C'mon Kanya!

Kanya- Okay. But only coz I promised.

Shan- Thank you! We will leave for New York tomorrow!

Kanya- Kya?

Shan- yes!!!!!

Kanya- Okay!

Shan- Lets go shopping!

Kanya- Whatever.

Kanya and Shanaya go shopping.

NEXT DAY IN THE PLANE TO JFK. IT HAS BEEN 7 HOURS.

Kanya and Shanaya have been on the flight for 7 hours. Kanya was basically reading boring dark books while Shanaya was watching movies.

Shan- Be careful about what you say to Kripa.

Kanya- Kyun?

Shan- Yaar she is pregnant. During pregnancy people become over sensitive.

Kanya- Ttheeke.

Shan- Wont it be fun? All of us together again?? Four of us!

Kanya- Remember even Sunny will be there!

Shan- So what? He will hang with other men!

Kanya- Okay. Now quit talking. I want to sleep.

Shan- Okay-dokey!

So Kanya goes to sleep. Shanaya also falls asleep later on.

EIGHT HOURS LATER AT JFK AIRPORT

Kanya and Shanaya are at the coffee caf' waiting for Kripa and Sunny. Shanaya is having a double choclate muffin while Kanya is having a cold strong tasteless coffee.

Kanya- Yeh Kripa aur Sunny kab aane waale hain?

Shan- Aaate hi honge yaar!

Kanya- I cant wait.

Shan- Please'..

A voice- Hey Kan! Hey Shan!

It is Sunny, Kripa's husband. Shan runs upto him and hugs him.

Shan- Hey Sunny!!

Sunny- Hi Kanya!

Kanya- Hi.

Sunny- No hugs?

Kanya- No.

Sunny- Please trust'..

Kanya (breaking into tears)- You, Amit and Ayaan are the only guys that I trust in this world.

Sunny- Kanya!

Sunny gives her a comforting hug.

Shan- Kripz kahan hain?

Sunny- Oh. Wo toh ghar main hain.

Shan- Wo wahan kya kar raha hain?

Sunny- Tum dono ki paintings bana rahi hain!

Kanya (bursting into laughter)- Paintings? Aur Kripa? Kab se?

Sunny- Arre uski painting ki burai mat karo. She has become over sensitive.

Kanya- Ttheeke.

Shan- Chalo lets go!

Sunny- Come!

So they all go to Sunny- Kripa's house.

AT KRIPA's HOUSE

Kripa is doing something in the kitchen when the doorbell rings. She goes upto open it.

Kripa- Ande kahan hain Sunny?

Sunny- Ande?

Kripa- Maine tumhe ande khareedne ke liye grocery store bheja tha aur yeh?? Shanaya aur Kanya? Sorry?

Shan- HEY!

Kanya- Hi Kripa!

Kripa- Hey guys!! Sunny jaake ande khareedo!

Sunny- Okay.

Kripa closes the door after Sunny goes.

Kripa- Sunny ko tum log gorcery store se mila kya? Tum log wahan kya kar rahe the?

Kanya- No! Wo'..

Kripa- Sunny bhi naa bilkul paagal hain. Grocery chala ande khareedne ke liye aur ghar laya tum dono ko. Paagal kaheeka.

Shan- Anyways Kripz tumhe ande kyun chahiye?

Kripa- Ande ki curry. Wo college ke dinon main banaya tha na wo!

Shan and Kanya look at each other.

FLASHBACK
It was a lovely day in college. It was lunch time. Kripa came and sat near Kanya and Sonia.

Kanya- Kripz tum itni khush kyun lag rahe ho?

Kripa- Maine ande ki curry banaya. Taste karoge?

Shan- Surefire!

Kripa gives to them all. But they puke it out.

Sonia- Tumne yeh kis cheez se banaya hain?

Kripa- First I put all the items in the blender then after they blended well enough I cracked the eggs and put the liquid in the mixture.

Kanya- WHATTTT? Tumne cook nahin kiya kya?

Kripa - Kyun?

Well that's it about that. But Kanya, Sonia and Shanaya had been unwell for 2 weeks after eating that.

Now back to the present.

Kanya (nervously)- Wahi waala hain kya?

Kripa- Haan kyun?

Shan- Nahin mujhe ande ki allergy hain.

Kripa- Oh. To no probs! Kuch aur banawungi!

Kanya- Banane ki kya baath hain? Lets order pizza!

Kripa- Acchi idea hain! I will do that!

Shan- Wo tumne jo banaya wo paintings humare kahan hain?

Kripa- Sunny ne bataya na? Come I will show you.

Kanya goes to wash. Shan also does and Kripa goes to call the Pizza Parlour.

SCENE SHIFTS TO INDIA

It is a board meeting in the Nanda Industries. Ranbir Nanda is showing his board of directors his plan.

Ranbir- So this is my latest proposal. It is upto you all to decide what you think about it. But one thing. If you all don't like it I am saying you all will be getting into loads of trouble. Especially you Mr. Mehta.

Mr. M- Okay Mr. Nanda. Your proposal has been accepted.

Ranbir- Good for you. Meeting dismissed.

The meeting was then dismissed. So you now know something. Ranbir still threatens people to get his way always just like this. They agree however bad his proposal is.

Piece of INFO- Guys I had told you about the shooting incident. Ranbir had taken his beloved father's guns to college just to cause some property damage. Unfortunately his bullets killed many people. His father came to stop him but Ranbir ended up kiling him too. Ranbir was sent to jail for 10 years which made him very hard and cold hearted. The 10 years of torture. First he was given only a 5 years term in jail but coz he killed the jailer too he had to stay for 5 more years. Life was living hell for him.

After the meeting Ranbir goes home and is greeted by Mallike Nanda his mother.

Mall- How as your day beta?

Ranbir- Awesome! Asusual they loved my proposal!

Mall- I am proud of how you have changed beta!

Ranbir- Mom!

Mall- Now one thing. You must go for that cruise.

Ranbir- Mom we have already spoken about this.

Mall- Beta'.

Ranbir- MOM I AM NOT GOING!

Mall- Okay.

Anyways Ranbir had never told his mother about his threatening activities. He was a full business minded chap. His life now revolved around his business only. He would kill to get success.
