Even though he is a fantastic singer, but I personaly feel that No. 1 should have been either Yashita, Prathiba, Debojit or Kaushik.

Vaishali was better than soumen in the last wknd's performance when they introduced both regional winners to enter the contest.

Vaishali was good again today. Both days she was better than Soumen.

Soumen does not deserve to be #1 as far as singing is concern. Now power of regional votes is different topic all by itself. 😃

Lst week i thought Soumen was better but today Vaishali was better...but its very difficult to say after one performance whether they are the best singer or not

Based on his last week's performance, he definitely deserved to be number one, and I would have been surprised if he didnt.

Both Pratibha and Vaishalli had some comments from the Mentors. Soumen sang it in a very easy style and somehow he stands out and has the X Factor. No doubt Pratibha and Vaishalli are very good. Yashita and Naina are nice but lack Fire Power. But I agree that one performance is not enough to judge. But here again right song choice makes all the difference.

I agree with you. I like vaishali voice very much and she sings todays song very good. I am pretty sure

she will not be in bottom 3 in future.

Speaking the truth, I do not like todays song. Any song after Amanat sang, I doubt that I would like in any others contestants voice. The softness the song needs and Amanat has I did not find in Soumen's voice.
