When Mini comes to Chandu to ask him to do something about the situation Kumkum is in.. I found Chandu's answer/logic to her, quite strange! 😕
Mini tells Chandu and everyone that Kumkum loves Sumit and she will be happy only with him.. Chandu admits that Kumkum will be happy with Sumit..but she won't be happy in a house (Raichand family) that values wealth more than relationships and humanity! Chandu also admits that he dislikes Surjan's behaviour, attitude & lifestyle 😡 yet he doesn't mind giving his daughter to such a man?! I mean..yeh kya logic hua? He knows his daughter will be happy with Sumit..but does not want her (rather cannot do anything about it) to get married to Sumit. He'd rather give his daughter to a rogue like Surjan?? Ladki ko ladke se shaadi karni hai.. ki ladke ke baap se karni hai?! 😕😕 Point is.. Chandu sees that Kumkum will be unhappy either ways.. with Sumit's family and with Surjan, yet he shows like he can't do anything about it! And where does Sumit come into all this? 😕😕 Does Chandu not see that Kumkum maybe unhappy with being a Raichand bahu..but atleast she'll be happy being Sumit's patni!!
What I liked in today's episode.. was Sumit's anger/pain and the way he showed it. The park scene..when Kumkum tells Sumit that she does not love him..and he tells her, "toh tum yahan khadi kyun ho..jaao yahan se.." I thought was a very natural reaction. Kinda reminded me of Hrithik's character in 'Mujhse Dosti Karoge'..where he was angry that Rani was sacrificing their love for Kareena..and he showed his anger in more ways than one! 😊 Such kinda reactions are natural and make the scene more realistic.. in my opinion 😳
