Hi everyone

I have a suggestion for this forum, Can we have a sticky called UPDATES so whenever a writer updates his/her ff, they can just post it there rather than PM individually. PM'ing can take up a lot of time and I bet is not good for the IF server to be loaded with so many messages. I just realized I have so many people on the Pm list that it would take forever to PM😕

What do you guys think?

good idea bheegi, infact a fanrastic idea,

i agree it becomes difficult at times to send pms to everyone,

But 1 drawback is that some members dont bother to come to the fanfiction section just to see whether some FFs have been updated or no,

when they receive a pm they are reminded that the FF is updated, and only then they are bound to visit the fanfiction section,

If a sticky topic is opened for updates, it should be posted in all forums, and not only the fanfiction forum

I am happy for a sticky topic to be opened, I think its a great idea, I am a reader, but can imagine, a writer's agony to pm each member, when they update

also, this sticky could be used by us readers also to remind writers to update, wow! now it sounds really great....

well i dunno...im sure VJ was saying something about adding a feature in the PM section where u can send PMs to mutiple people....ask him what the situation on tht is before we go making the topic...but if he says he isnt doing tht then yeah i agree..a sticky topic would b good...

Liked the idea and hope this sticky post will be as convenient as the creative corners.

Like the reader can go directly to go to their fav ff/ff writer site to see the update. And the update info should be on the link.

we have tons of writers as well readers so the readers won't search for their fav ff/writers update post.

As Rachu mentioned VJ's idea for multiple pm is also convenient.

Thanks for the post, bheegi! as we talked the other day about this.

I agree it takes a lot of pain to pm individuals when uve got limited so it becomes difficult.

Its a great idea Bheegi. I absolutely agree that it does take a lot of time to pm everyone about the update. A sticky containing the update information of all the ffs would be a relief to most of the writers if not all. Not too sure about the readers though.

seriously that would be ever so helpful !!!! tooo many people to PM.... and then i keep forgetting some poeple as well...... 😕

that would be like a FANTASTIC idea... or the multiple PMing would be helpful aswell.....

please mods.. consider this idea...
