Recap: Leeza tells Lajjo to be extra careful, not to trust anyone even Rekha. The family is together in Ranbir's room and Rekha says that the boys should divorce the girls. Ranbir also agrees, Uday picks up the pen to sign.
Abhay & Uday both sign the divorce papers. Ranbir assures them that they have done the right thing. After signing the papers, Dada ji grabs his check book and writes out a check for them. He says that Ranbir is right as we had accepted them as our daughter-in-laws but they are only here for money so give them the money. Rekha comes to get the divorce papers and the checks but Abhay stops her saying that he himself wants to throw the divorce paper and checks in their face and walks out of the room. Rekha thinks that if Abhay really did this then it won't be long before Leeza understands my plan. She looks at Jaz suggesting to say something. Jaz says that he stormed out of here and no-one even tried to stop. If in anger he does something or says something – don't you all remember what Saraswati had said. Rekha agrees and asks Uday to stop him and suggests Ranbir should also go after him.
Lajjo is praying in front of Mata rani saying for how long will she have to go thru this – I am not here for the money, but only to prove my innocence to my husband and make him realize the truth, to get his love. And I am sure that with your blessings I can get this also 'coz I am telling the truth. But it seems that you have forgotten to bless me but just tell me once for how long will I have to go thru this punishment. Even when I am right they all think I am wrong, when will all they start believing me. Some guys is standing there listening to her – he goes up to her and holds her hand saying that whether no-one believes her but he does and he is touching her hands and her rubbing her arms in wrong manner. (I don't know who he is and is she that dumb not to realize that the way he is touching her he doesn't have good intentions). He hears some noise and realizes that someone is coming and quickly walks out of there.
Ranbir and Uday are after Abhay trying to stop him and tell him not to act in anger. Abhay says what has to be done must be done right at this moment and I will throw this in her face as I want to see her leaving from here. Back at the pooja ghar Leeza comes in and asks her why she seems so worried. She reminds Lajjo that remember Saraswati told her that no-one can insult us in this home and if something has happened she should tell her. Lajjo tells her that Uday thinks that she has come back for money. Leeza thinks to herself that it's not him thinking but he is being fed with those thoughts. She tells Lajwanti that someone in this house is giving wrong info. to Uday which is why he is thinking like this and we must tell him the truth. She tells her that Lajjo shouldn't cry at every little obstacle but must be strong. We came back to free us of any wrong allegations we have on us. And after all the insults we are still here in this house its only 'coz we love our husbands. & tells her promise her that she'll not cry again, they both promise each other that they'll never leave the other alone.
Everyone comes downstairs; Abhay goes in the kitchen but doesn't see the girls there. Rekha and Jaz are wondering where the two are. The entire family gathers together, L & L are coming out of the pooja ghar. Abhay walks towards them with the papers/checks – Ranbir stops him and tells him to give him the papers. The girls are looking at his hand and wondering what papers is he carrying. He hands them over to Ranbir and they fall on the ground instead. Leeza looks at them in shock and walks over to pick them up. Jaz comes from the other side; they both touch the papers at the same time. They both give each other nasty looks but Leeza picks up the checks then the divorce papers and is shocked to see them.
Abhay says in anger that you've gotten your money – now get out. Leeza replies "finally you've showed us how rich you are. You are here to give us checks but I am sorry Abhay we are not here for money. I didn't leave my country & family for money but for you because I Love you. But today I am ashamed of myself that I fell in love with you." Lajjo walks up and tells that Leeza she shouldn't talk to her husband like this it's not our or this family's values. Leeza gets upset and says "what values? Here look he is putting a price tag on his wife's love." Rekha is thinking to herself that "what's going on? It seems this time her plan has backfired." Jaz in anger tells Leeza that enough of your tantrums just get out from here. Leeza says "excuse me, it's between me and my husband, do not interfere in it." & looks at Abhay "you want to know what I want – then have a look at what I want to do." She rips the divorce papers and the checks and throws them in Abhay's face. Everyone looks at her in shock.
Pre-cap for Monday: Abhay in his room, a song playing in the background, he is quite upset and confused. Throwing clothes out of his closet and looks at Leeza picture which is in a frame by his bedside.
Comments: I really love how strong Leeza is and she can actually see who is manipulative in this whole scheme. Lajjo is just way too innocent – her character needs to evolve a bit and it would be nice to see her take a stand in front of Uday.
