There have been recent reports stating that Sanjay Dutt is writing his autobiography, which will narrate incidents from his personal life and his brush with the wrong side of the law. The macho star confirms, "It is true that I'm writing my autobiography. My life has been very colourful so far and I intend to write about it," Sanjay said on the sidelines of a promotional event of his forthcoming film Kidnap.
Insiders reveal that wife Manyata is very keen to launch his autobiography and is also motivating Sanjay to embark on this literary journey. Apparently, she has been holding meetings with several publishers for the same. "Yes, Manyata is helping me a lot with it. She is very involved with my autobiography," Sanjay said.
Born to legendary actors Sunil Dutt and Nargis, Sanjay is expected to pour out his heart in the book. His youth was a troubled one when his mother passed away just a few weeks before his debut film Rocky. Then on he has fought with several lows including drug addiction, loss of his first wife Richa Sharma to cancer, stints in prison (being accused in the 1993 bomb blasts) in addition to his rollercoaster career ride, which hit an all-time high with the Munnabhai series.
Sanjay's upcoming films include EMI, Blue, Aladin and Lamha.
