Hey guys it was so funny..... I was watching Indian Idol Amritsar Auditions and Parleen Gill comes.... first of all he is sooooooo cute, he is a Gill, i am a Gill and then he says we are in the farms of village Baddowal............ and Baddowal is my jiju's village...... My didi and Jiju live in Amritsar, but that is where my jiju grew up.... his dad still stays there.... then i called my didi's nanad who is more than a friend to me.... she is in college and i told her that her village was in indian idol.......... she laughed hysterically........and said.... didi u made an international call to tell me this........... i said.... "what!!!!! i was so excited to hear the name of ur village...... otherwise who knew that there is a Baddowal village near Amritsar.........." Just wanted to share.........

hehe thas cute!! we get more excited about such small things than ppl actually living there...

few years ago i was in india, and we found out that the shooting of veer zaara is happening in a small village near amritsar sumwhere....so my uncle made arrangements and we got to go see the shooting...we reached amritsar and asked ppl around where the shooting is taking place, and they told us itz in hoshiarpur.....so we're like OMGGG WAT?? WE HEARD IT WAS IN AMRITSAR!!.....den the ppl told us yea yea, we're not talking about the city hoshairpur, we're talking about the small village nearby...lolll....my parents lived in punjab almost all their lives, and they didnt noe there was a city AND a village of the same name LOLL
