Since how many years have you been fasting for Karva Chauth?
This will be my first Karva Chauth.

How relevant is the festival to you?
For me it very special and has a lot of meaning. Since childhood, I have seen my mother and relatives religiously following this festival. As a child, I used to get excited about mom keeping a fast for dad, so that he lives long and has a trouble-free life. I guess I imbibed that over the years, and am looking forward to doing the same for my husband. The whole feeling of doing something for someone special is very nice. But for me it very special and it has a lot of meaning.

What will you do today?
My husband lives in Delhi, but he's coming down to be with me on this day. I will be shooting thoughout, but the fact that he will be with me makes me feel very special.

What is your husband's reaction?
He feels very important because someone is keeping a fast and praying for his long life. But he insists that I not remain hungry thoughout, or he will observe a fast too.
