Preity Zinta is getting a makeover these days. The actress has shed her glamorous image and is focussing on character-oriented roles.
After her stupendous performance as the sari-clad theatre artiste in Rituparno Ghosh's The Last Lear, the actress will be seen without make up in Samir Karnik's Heroes.
Preity plays the wife of a simple farmer (Salman Khan) who later joins the army and for that she just had to be plain and simple.
Samir Karnik asked Preity to run the tractor to make the scene look authentic but he actress refused saying she did not know how to.
Like a true hero, Salman came to her help and trained her. After two days of training from the superstar, Preity was operating the tractor skillfully!
