Rana comes to know that Aastha is the one who'll perform the puja ; Shubh and Aastha are shocked to see someone enter the cursed haveli at night.
Today :
Shubh asks Aastha if she saw something.
She hesitatingly replies "Yes "
Shubh says that this haveli is very strange , and he puts his arm around Aastha's waist and they leave.
But Aastha is staring at the room in which she saw the shadow.
Next morning ,
Dadaji is performing a kind of surya-namaskar standing in a creek .
He says (to the Sun-God) : We are reviving the ancient tradition of the kuldevi's puja , so bless us and bless our family.
Dadaji smiles , he seems to be at peace.
Meanwhile , a bare-chested Rana is trying to tame a wild white horse
Meanwhile,
Shubh and Aastha are riding on horses , both the horses are trotting slowly.
Shubh : "See Aastha , there was nothing to worry about , its so much fun!"
Aastha: "Shubh , we should be getting back now , its nearly time for the puja--aah!"
The instant she says'puja' , her horse rears up and starts galloping frantically.She screams "Shubh , Shubh!" but Shubh's horse is unable to catch up with Aastha's horse , which is galloping frantically.
Rana hears Aastha screaming "Shubh! Shubh!" and when he sees Aastha's horse out of control , he puts on his jacket and gets upon his horse and leaves the paddock to help.
Rana , being an experienced horse-rider , soon overtakes Shubh's horse and draws parallel to Aastha's horse.
He grasps the reins of Aastha's horse from his horse and manages to bring it to a stop.
He gets down himself and helps Aastha down when Shubh arrives and thanks him for saving her life.
Aastha too agrees , she is very much shaken , and she says "If you hadnt arrived at the right time , God knows what whould have happened"
Just then , one of the maidservants arrives in a car to take Aastha to the haveli , because everyone is waiting for her to start the puja.She tells Shubh that you too have to come with the Rana , and she leaves with Aastha.
Shubh thanks Rana again , for saving Aastha.He says "Aastha is my life , my everything....thank you so much once again"
Rana tells Shubh "And you've allowed your life and love to be killed?"
Shubh is shocked .
Rana tells Shubh that you're saying that I've done you a favour by saving Aastha , but , maybe after this puja , this favour may be proved false , because maybe Aastha wont be there after this puja.
He continues "This puja is cursed...it was stopped twenty five years ago because during performing this puja , many untoward incidents occurred....and your Dadi-saa was killed after performing this puja"
Shubh is shocked and rushes to the haveli , where a servant informs him that the family are in the fields , where the puja is going to start shortly.
In the fields , Dadaji does an aarti of two huge bullocks , who are attached to a plough.
Aastha arrives and circles the bullocks , putting a tilak on their foreheads.
Dadaji tells her to upturn some soil with the plough , and using that very soil , they will make the kuldevi's idol for this puja.
Aastha is just about to put her hand to the plough when Shubh arrives and shouts "Stop this puja!"
Shubh says " the truth about this puja , that it would pose a danger to Aastha's life was hidden from me , but now that I know the truth , I wont allow this to be performed!"
Vanraj , Dadaji and Aastha try to convince him but he's adamant .
Anushka thinks "Just another trick to impress the family..SO CHEAP!!!"
Shubh tells Aastha "I cant sit and watch you movng towards death...you cant always put your life in danger for our family....no Aastha , I wont allow you to do this"
Dadaji tells Shubh that you could have stopped this and raised objections if this puja had not begun , but now , its already started and if we leave it incomplete , there maybe harm not only to Aastha , but the whole family..."
While all this is going on , the younger members are simply surprised.
Aastha finally convinces Shubh saying that "Shubh , if you permit me , I can perform this puja without any apprehensions ....also free from the burden of lying to you....I believe in my god Shubh, he'll never let me down"
Shubh says " Once again , Aastha , my love for you is making me helpless...but you're sacrificing yourself again , and this has only made my love for you deeper..."
Aastha smiles and begins to push the bullocks.
She advances to some extent but then encounters some obstruction in the soil , she pushes hard , but the bullocks dont budge.
Shubh and a servant help in pushing the bullocks and then they finally unearth a skeleton from the soil
Everyone is shocked.

IMPORTANT : I'll be inactive from 19th September , cause I have my half-yearly exams for a fortnight , and then I'll be on hols for Dussehra......so basically I wont be doing the written and promo updates for around the next 4 weeks , starting from 22nd Sept ....so somebody please PM me about if you decide to do the updates in my stead...because I've pretty much taken on the responsibility for the written updates , and I'll be at ease if I know someone else is doing them regularly.....
