it can be his mother, who died ata young age. coz Ba is coming to the show. I think he was then brought up by his grandmother.

True, but there hasn't been any mention of it. Ashmit never looks at it or anything. I hope its a wife that is alive so she can come back and stop Ashmit and Pooja's wedding.
