Now it’s Twinkle’s turn to get out...

Hello Everybody,

This is Sangeeta from Singapore. This program called SaReGaMaPa is the best musical show on Indian television. But sorry to say friends if the show continues in this fashion then I fear it might no longer be the best show. Especially the public voting system has just spoiled the show. All the talented singers are getting out one by one. Last week we saw Swananda out of the show. Likewise I also feel the same for Vishwas, Abhijeet, Keka. All these singers I think should have been there at least in the final 10. Now I think it's Nihira's turn to get eliminated. This I say because Nihira as we all know is a great singer and has all the qualities to make it to the finals & win the challenge but because she might no be able to dance (perform) like Twinkle (who according to me can only dance & has no singling ability). I have no personal grudges against Twinkle but this show I thought was meant to be a singing competition and not a dance (Latka & Jhatka) competition. May be Twinkle should have participated in some other show but not here. She is so arrogant & over confidant. She is giving too much importance to performance over her singing. This is my observation & opinion only.

twinkle is a good performer n a dacer.i think she has good pop voice and sings fast songs very well.she sings slow songs well too.i dont remember which one but that song in which she wore black.

Twinkle is a pretty good singer. Maybe not as good as Nihira...but she is definitely a good singer. Don't forget she had pipped Himani and got directly into AgniPariksha while Himani had to endure Chakravyuh. I believe Shiv-Hari were the judges then???

I admit her performances had started deteriorating, maybe due to negligence or pressure...but she has started picking up lately. Her weakpoint is her voice...which is very limited in range...she can do well only in the middle octave. But she has got a fairly flexible throat, I bet she could give Nihira a good run for her money if there's a proper classical round.

But maybe she might get voted out because she has not found favour with the public or mentors and because the competition is much more intense between girls as compared to boys.

Twinkle is a much much better singer than Rajeev. If anyone needs to be voted out this time it should be him. Yes she'll alno not reach the final five. Thats my belief. But she don't deserve to be voted out now. It's now Rajeev's turn.

Hey friend you have admitted that Twinkle does not make a good singer. So that itself goes to say that she does not come anywhere closer to Nihira. For that matter I feel that Himani is much much much better than Twinkle. So what if she had pipped Himani and got directly into agnipariksha. Moreover you have also said in your column that her performance started deteriorating & her weakpoint is her voice. So that's it my dear friend. Just to remind you that this is a singing competition. If you dont have a good voice to sing then what is she doing here ❓ I repeat...She is giving too much importance to performance over her singing. So what I feel is that there is no place for pretty good singer. Thanks
