This show started out sooooooooo well with awesome jodis. Unfortunately, Amit and Rajshree stayed for MANY weeks longer than they should have. Abhishek's teams, Aneek and Sayantani, and Kushal and Sanchita all lost to none other than Raja and Jassi, who if you ask me, were the second worst jodis to begin with (first was Amit-Rajshree). Raja's voice was totally nasal and his sur was off VERY often. Jassi barely danced in the show but got good marks. Jassi and Raja were very good in that they argued with the judges saying they didn't get enough marks, and that was displayed on screen. The judges then, in order to avoid public humiliation, have Jassi-Raja good marks and the audience went along with that as well. I think ESBE lost all its credibility in searching for talent by allowing Jassi Raja to even come that far.

I think ESBE was made totally for entertainment value ....most of us thought that it would be Abhijeetda's muse Sanchita who would win the competetion but Zee knew it better ....just like other shows where none of the previous champs win at the end , here is also no exception .....
I think it was scripted ..and when the contestants were not available ..either due to tight schedule or knee problems or prior commitment ...they were eliminated .....No comments on Raja -jassi win ..I think between these 2 couples Raja was better singer than Sanchita and Kushal a better dancer than jassi ....so they could have made it a tie😉 .....
after Aneek was eliminated i stopped watching the show and today Shayantani's awesome Jiya jale performance proved again who the best dancer is ...grace and postures can only be aquired after years of training 😃....
my 2 cents ....

I agree. Jasveer is a great dancer.
If asking me, I really think that Amit and Rajshree were the worst and stayed too much, but Raja and Jassi are very good performers (Raja is good when Jassi is awesome). Of course, it could be better if Aneek-Shayantani or Abhishek's teams won, but I can't say the same about Kushal-Sanchita. They were too favoured by the judges and it's annoyed the audience, so it could be really unfair if they won.

I only watched the finale to see Aneek & Sayantani again! I am somewhat glad that they got the most "adbhut jodi award."
Aneek always sings various types of songs, which makes him the most versatile singer and that makes him the best singer. You can tell that he sings from within the heart and focuses on each and every note peacefully.
Sayantani is superb! There are two types of good dancers. There are ones who are techincally good, but there are ones who actually have soul and can truly connect to the piece they are performing.
Both of them stand out from the rest because they are the ones you find yourself watching the show for. To be good performers, you gotta love it and be able to connect with what you are doing because if you aren't then you're just like every other performer out there. Aneek & Sayantani FEEL and PERFORM.
I am not saying that everyone else sucks, but what I am saying is that Aneek & Sayantani are really really talented and define Ek Se Badhkar Ek.

I think the best singer in this entire show was Aishwarya Nigam. He's simply awesome!
I like Raja's performances too. But I feel he was not as good as he was in SRGMP 2007. He was just too good there. There were some performances of Raja here on ESBE that were excellent. But I wouldn't say all of them.
And Shayantani was an excellent dancer.
But best pair? I think Aneek & Shayantani would have been deserving.

Raja wasn't as good as he was in SRGMP..or ustadon ka ustaad! But I love Raja jassi both of them and I am glad (really really really) glad they won. I started out supporting 3 teams Purbi emon, Raja jassi and Kushal sanchita. I was sad to see Purbi and emon leave so early but glad my other 2 teams made it to finals.

I love Raja and jassi!!😳

Well said Sam. I totally agree. Again, we are not saying that noone else is good so please don't misunderstand this. But I also watched this show, and its finale, for Aneek and Sayantani.
