Two weeks of illness; two weeks of feud.

HELLOOOO Vivaah-ians!

I am back after two very rough weeks. I went away for a wedding, and came back extremely sick. Add with that the fact that my university started once again, and my work and the start of Ramadan, I had no time (wait, I had no ENERGY) to get on IF. =(. However, I am better once again =), and back on the forum.

However, after reading some of the posts since my last visit, I just HAVE to say something. I have to say first of all that I am very disappointed. I always thought that the Vivaah forum was the calmest of the lot. There were no tantrums (lol, I sound like a producer), no misunderstandings, and I genuinely appreciated the fact that all of us love the show without putting down characters (wait. I still hate Kanaiyah's character. And I still think that he is a leech.. but I don't think I'm the only one, as everyone thinks the same, and hence that does not count. yeYEAH!) and certain fan-groups.

Seeing this divide, first with TAAJ and Trish-Raj, and now between the two sisters, makes me so sad. As an avid TAAJ-er, I have to defend my couple. Personally, I did not fall in love with them because Tanya is hot, or any of that nonsense. I fell in love with them because the married each other under the most unromantic circumstances, and yet they respect each other. I have said this numerous times, and I will say it again: I started to watch Vivaah once again only after Raj put sindoor onto Tanya's maang. I believe in falling in love and I cannot wait to see how it happens for TAAJ.

To say that the couple sucks, and to change the show so that the "better" couple (i.e trish and raj) get together is an uncalled for statement. I find Tanya;s simplicity to be her beauty. Even in the start, though she did not wear prettier clothes like Trish, I always liked her character, and still do. I just wish that we can all just accept the show as it is, especially keeping in mind thatthese are ACTORS who just do what the director+creative team+producers as of them. We're being unfair when we start to compare people on looks. Both the ladies (Trish and Tanya) would not have made it this far in the TV business had they not had the looks which the directors were seeking.

ALSO: as of today's show, we were granted a glimpse of Trish and Rajdeep's future love-track. If people are really fans of Trish's character then they should also find happiness in hers. She looked like she was deeply concerned if not already in love with Rajdeep today, and so who are we to ask her to get back with someone she no longer has feelings for?

Lastly, these are solely mo opinions. I do not wish to create more problems, and really just wish that we could enjoy the show without created mini camps in this forum. =))

Glad you're better, but forums are for opinions and if this is how we feel, this is how we feel. We all got caught up in the Yuv Trish jodi and now we have to be forced to accept another. Also, I continue to state that hiding Tanya's rape and Yuv marrying her under those circumstances was unfair to her, him and the audience. She never dealt with the horrible violence done against her and that is not the best way to depict such a situation. It sends the message that women should hide the vicious attacks against them and hope that some nice guy comes along and has enough pity to marry them. She did nothing wrong! And the biggest injustice is what has become of the sisters' relationship because no one told Trish what really happened. And having them ALL live under the same roof is ambiguous at best and unfair to all parties involved. That all having been said, I think the forum changed so much because the storyline disappointed so many of us.
