So if it had been me in those pheras and knots (bandhan) got intertwined, I would think God is telling me something. Got it. But, then again, sometimes people can't stay in their own physical space, like drivers!
So when the material connecting man and woman are set ablaze AT the knot, I'd think God is saying "why didn't you pay mind the first time?." No need to have the mandap fall on my head, or the fire go out without water, God--I get the point. I'd worry, but I'd probably go on with the ceremony. However in the back of my mind, the fear would swirl.
Then you have the wise-looking baba. They all are supposed to look wise, right? So when he saw the couples out of position, he said these matches were made in heaven. When Deep rearranged everyone, Baba said whatever happened was for the good, and whatever will happen in the future will be for the good.
How did you interpret all these things that happened around the wedding time? What does this mean for the marriages? Does it mean they are for the best as they are, or that nature has to correct them, as they are, for the lack of a better word, " out of whack"?
Looking forward to reading your thoughts on the whole thing.
