Why did Vibhishan said ki one should not see the chauth ka chand in one of the earlier episodes where he was telling ravan tht he had done a wrong deed by bringing sita to lanka ?
What happens if one see the chauth ka chand ?
Any story behind it ?

If anyone knows abt this the pls share wid me ?

don't know ,might b chauth ka chand is a bad omen !!

I have heard one story about chouth ka chand. don't know if its true or not.....

once when Ganapati Bappa was going somewhere using sky way (sitting on the mouse his vehicle symbol) Chandrama started laughing at Ganapati. When Ganeshji asked him reason for his laughter, he said that he cant stop laughing looking at huge Ganesha sitting on small mouse.....

So, Ganeshji gave him Shrap that on Chouth day of month whoever will see him will be punished by God.

Then Chandrama begged for forgiving him and Ganeshji gave him one Vaardaan that on Chouth if any one will fast entire day and will see Chand at night before eating will not be punished by God.

ok..... hope you understood the story . I know I am not a good story writer.
