Soniya Kapoor, also known as Sonia Ray in Star One's Remix, is appearing in a Gautam Adhikari thriller. She plays a cop and she says it's a very challenging role.

"The character is very different from the one in Remix. Here I am a straight forward woman who is serious about her work, while in Remix my character has several shades." She answers her ten questions…

When is your birthday and what is your star sign?
I am a Libran, born on October 6.

Do you believe in astrology and numerology?
Yes. I do believe in astrology to a certain extent. Everything is destined, no matter what, what has to happen will happen. I don't believe in numerology.

Where were you born and which school did you go to?
I was born in Mumbai, and I went to Divine Child High School, Andheri (E).

What was your first job? And how much was your first paycheque?
I worked as a trainee (development officer) for Vatsa Finance at the age of 16. My first pay was Rs 800.

One thing you are really bad at doing?
I am bad at lying.

What is your favourite smell?
I love the smell of mud after the first rains.

Where in Mumbai would you rather be living?
I would prefer living in Bandra Seaface.

What cell phone do you use?
I use a Nokia 6680

What car do you drive?
I drive a Tata Indigo

Who do you regret losing touch with?
I have lost touch with a friend who is not in India. Its been about five years now.
