Balaji guys hit the bollywood barometer!!

Bollywood's the ultimate destination for our telly actors. Though, the business has become a grey area of sorts because you can catch the divas and the heroes of tinsel town on the small screen, and our telly actors etching their footprints on the Bollywood canvas. It did not strike us strange that two names from the Balaji camp were again pitted against each other for T- series Bollywood blockbuster.

It is Cezzane Khan v/s Yasir Shah – the former being a veteran from the Balaji camp; the latter a newbie, albeit from the 'B' camp. Though, the concept and the story line is still hazy around the corners, according to our source, both the actors have auditioned and have been short listed for the lead role.

Going by the grapevine, both the actors are very keen about making inroads into Bollywood. Arguably the best looking guy in telly world, Cezanne made his debut in Hasratein - the super hit serial of the 90s. He could have been easily forgotten had he not landed a role in Ekta Kapoor's Kalirein. So impressed was the Queen of Soaps by his performance that she offered him the lead role in Kasautii Zindgaii Kay. He has dabbled in a few serials, but his claim to fame remains his essaying of 'Anurag Basu' in Ekta Kapoor's Kasautii Zindgaii Kay.

Yasir followed his dream to become an actor and his dream took him from the shores of Pakistan and brought him to the city of dreams – Mumbai. He bagged the lead role in Khwaish, a show which did well internationally, but failed to take off in India. By his own admission, Yasir admits, "It is my biggest dream to see myself on the big screen. I have grown up with an aspiration to appear on 70 mm. Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan are my favorite stars and Katrina Kaif is the most gorgeous looking actress."
With the two actors sharing the same pedigree in some ways, we couldn't help but wonder who the head honchos at T series would sign on board. Would they go ahead with the famous 'Anurag Basu' or would they settle in for a newbie 'Azan' of Khwaish?
