Mosquitoes galore on Saath Saath sets
The lead actress was admitted to hospital
While TV stars are earning the mega bucks these days there are several occupational hazards that they face too. Tullika Upadhyay who plays Leeza (opp Amit Tandon) in Zee TV's afternoon show, Saath Saath collapsed on the sets one day. When the doctor was summoned he diagnosed her condition as a low haemoglobin level. Her condition was so critical that Tullika had to be admitted.
Later it was discovered she was suffering from malaria. Apparently the area around the Saath Saath sets is infected with mosquitoes. Also most of the crew is so wary of the food being served that they prefer carrying their own lunch boxes from home.
Considering Saath Saath is faring well and generating TRPs let's hope the producers overlook these mishaps in future.
