It's quite an unusual site to see 20 good-looking girls trying to woo two handsome guys. Normally it's the other way round.

But in Splitsvilla (a reality show on a music channel), two smart boys – Vishal and Varun – are having the time of their life as they are constantly surrounded by 20 beautiful girls, who are trying to impress the boys, as that is the concept of the reality show.

In town for the promotion of their show, Varun and Vishal got talking to LT about the show, their preferences, future plans and much more.

Vishal and Varun are like chalk and cheese. Vishal is relatively shy while Varun is outspoken. So, how does it feel surrounded by so many beautiful girls? "It feels great. Normally, one always keeps trying to hang out with girls, but here the girls are trying to hang out with us," says Vishal. Varun chips in with a smile, "It feels as if I'm on cloud nine. Because it hardly happens in real life. But being in such a situation is not easy too. Spending 20-25 days with so many girls is not easy."

In the show both Vishal and Varun are seen dating beautiful girls regularly. "I used to get a feeling as if I'm going on a real date. But with some girls whom I didn't like, it was a bit frustrating," says Vishal. But for Varun, going on a date with girls for the show was "not like going on a real date. On a real date, I try to impress girls and have apprehensions whether I'm looking good or not. But in this show, I'm relaxed because I know the girls will be trying to impress me. There is no pressure on me, you see."

So, which girl do they like the most? Varun shoots back quickly: "Heena, because she's the most down-to-earth girl. Plus, she's is tall and I like tall girls. If not Heena, then I'll go for Priyanca." And the soft-spoken Vishal says, "Annie. Though she is a li'l dumb, but I like her. I also like Ritu and Shraddha. But these girls were dumped very soon in the show. But in real life, I would prefer a girl who is intelligent and knows what is happening around the world."

This reality show has made both Vishal and Varun stars overnight. Their popularity – especially among girls – is phenomenal. So what are their future plans, we wonder? "I am getting a lot of offers to host reality shows and act in daily soaps. I'll see which one suits me. And since I'm a commercial pilot, if things don't work out in the entertainment industry for me, I have the option of falling back on my original profession," says Vishal while Varun says, "I too am getting offers to act in serials. But I don't want to do all that. My dream is to host Roadies, which has given me so much popularity."
