Although the box-office fate of APAHARAN will be known in a few days from now, Prakash Jha's Nana-Ajay-Bipasha starrer has already set a new record as far as the number of prints is concerned.
Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd., the Mumbai distributors of APAHARAN, who have released several biggies in 2005, will be releasing as many as 149 prints of the film in Mumbai circuit. If the number of prints in circulation is an indicator, APAHARAN should have a fantastic first week if it fetches a good start and finds appreciation.
The breakdown of prints is as follows: DUS – 144 prints, PAHELI – 119 prints, MAINE PYAAR KYUN KIYA – 145 prints and APAHARAN – 149 prints.
