19th August-Written Update

Ranawat House-

The doctor comes with the stethoscope in his hand.He says "I simply dont know what to say....whether is good news or bad news...on one hand the last rites of the eldest son of this family are being performed , and on the other a new member is in the process of coming into the family....Aastha is going to give birth to Swayam's child."

Everyone is shocked(they will be , they dont know that its Payal)

Shubh is astounded too....he rushes towards the doctor,grabs his collar and shouts"What are you saying doctor?Tell me its not the truth! and if it is the truth...phir aaj main hoon....aur woh hai....main use jaan se maar daloonga!" (Dont ask me who this 'woh' is....Shubh did not specify any particular gender...so I had adifficulty in translating it to Eng.)

Shubh lets go of the doctor and walks away when Vanraj and Sulochana stop him.

Shubh:Main use nahin choroonga mom,main use jaan se maar daloonga!

Sulochana:Stop Shubh! A disaster like this has happened in the family..is this less?What are you going to do?

Shubh:And what about what the doctor said?Was that less than a disaster?

Sulochana cries and tells Shubh to accept the truth,because they have no other option.

-Payal's Bedroom-

Sulochana,dressed in mourning clothes,comes to Payal's room , where they hug and cry.Payal puts up a show,when Saksham comes and calls them for the last rites.

Payal then runs to the living room , where the body is , and puts up another show ,'of the bereaved wife'.She tears off her mangalsutra and wipes off the sindoor.Everyone cries even harder , but all the while Shubh is growing more and more furious,because he knows that Payal is actually not feeling sad.Payal too is watching Shubh out of the corner of her eyes.

Shubh then cries out "Enough!" and then he goes on to say that why are you putting up a show , when you're not even feeling anything?Our family has been hurt , what's it to you?

Vanraj shouts at Shubh saying is this the time to start all of this ?Have you gone mad?

Shubh shouts "yes I have gone mad!And its because of this woman -"

Shubh stops when Payal looks at him with a shocked look-all trace of grief is gone from her face .

Sulochana manages to quieten Shubh down and Deepa takes Payal to her room.

-Om's hideout-

Aastha is offered food by Om but she pushes the plate away.Om tells her that he understands her anger and he know that she wants to hurt him and Payal.But to hurt both of them she would need strength ,and if she doesnt eat , she'll die of hunger and both of them will escape without a scratch.

Aastha still refuses and when Om's brother comes to call him to eat,Om angrily refuses to eat too.

Then Aastha tells Om that you arent what you look like,you're a good person because you couldnt bear that I refused to eat.She says "Om I know that love is blind , and your love for Payal is forcing you to be used by her.But just like you love Payal , I too love Shubh very much and our family is shattered right now....I beg you , let me go"

Om stares at her for some time and then makes a tiny gesture with his hand , signalling Aastha to go

Just as Aastha is about to leave , Payal's call comes.

Payal:Om,the first phase of my plan is successful , and I'm sure that I'm going to reach my destination shortly.My first win has sounded the Ranawats' destruction's trumpet.

Om:That means you'll be back soon

Payal:I hope so too.Only I've to stay alert of Shubh-sometimes his doings make me feel as if he knows my truth.

Om:And what about Aastha?She is simply dying to get away

Payal:Keep an eye on her at all times , and after finishing this Swayam's drama , I'll let you know what is to be done about Aastha and Shubh.
