Sallu-Kat at Arpita's party...

A source from the party says that while Katrina and Salman haven't parted ways yet, things are definitely strained between the two.

"Salim Khan and Helen were the first to arrive. Then Salman, Arbaaz, Malika, Sohail and Dino Morea came at around 11.40 pm. There was a lot of alcohol flowing at the party. Arpita and her friends had a great time. Then the cake was cut as soon as the Khans arrived. It was well after the cake had been cut and champagne bottles opened that Katrina arrived," says the source.

But the actress didn't go up to her beau immediately.

"They both saw each other but that was all. A table was set up where Salman was making drinks personally for his close friends. At that table Sajid Nadiadwala, Dino, Arbaaz and Kunal Khemu were present. Sallu was serving drinks to each of them. Katrina was sitting very close to the table but he didn't offer her a drink. Soon after that Azharuddin and Sangeeta Bijlani (Salman's ex) arrived. Salman immediately went up and hugged Sangeeta quite affectionately. Katrina had her eyes at him all this time and he was in quite high spirits to care."

"When he turned around she called him over to her. They hugged and whispered something to one another. Kat wasn't happy with Salman hugging Sangeeta. She requested him to stop drinking but he didn't listen and continued to drink. That upset Kat and she left the party. When Salman realized what had happened, he sent his bodyguard Shera to find her. It took a lot of convincing for Katrina to return to the party. When she came back, she once again pleaded with Salman to stop drinking… but he was in no mood to listen," says the source, "So she got into the act with him as well. She wanted to teach him a lesson. She began downing drink after drink herself and as a result got very high!"

And it seems in their high spirits, the two lovers also discussed marriage plans. "Katrina was sitting very cozily with Salman. At one point she asked him 'when will we get married?' to which Salman smiled and replied 'Soon… maybe next year.' Everyone just watched them in amusement," says the source.

But it wasn't just Salman and Katrina who shared some awkward moments. Deepika Padukone completely ignored ex lover Yuvraj Singh in the presence of her present beau Ranbir Kapoor.

"Deepika and Ranbir arrived separately as Ranbir came directly from filming. But as soon as he came, Deepika only had eyes for Ranbir. For the three hours that they were at the party, the two held each others hands. Not for one minute did they leave each other's side. Soon after Yuvraj came and his first question was if Deepika was around," laughs the source, "But then he saw Ranbir and stayed far away from his ex. Although all evening he kept looking at her… at one point in the evening although the two were in close distance to each other, Deepika looked through Yuvraj and walked off hand in hand with Ranbir!"
