Kudos to Ashita for dancing away minus the strap…

Wardrobe malfuction – a nightmare for our celebs. How many times have we been exposed to the occasional mishaps which cause sleepless nights for the celebs, the producers and just about everyone involved in the showcase? The latest nightmarish episode was caught on this week's episode of Zara Nachke Dikha wherein Ashita was caught in a moment of horror.

The strap of her halter neck dress gave way while removing the wings from her costume. But that did not dampen her spirit and she performed till the end unfazed! Malaika one of the judges exclaimed ""If I had been in her place, I probably would have not been able to handle it so gracefully. Kudos for her great performance and courage"

We caught up with the cool gal in the midst of her busy schedule to know the 'kissa strap ka', "This happened within a few seconds after I started dancing and it was when my strap broke. My outfit was very heavy. Added to that, we had no rehearsed as we had to perform instantly and we didn't have time on our hands to work on our costumes.

My day hadn't really started on a good note and I think my lady luck was looking the other way and when the strap gave away, I think my heart almost stopped beating for a nano second. I knew when the strap gave away, but at that moment, I didn't want to miss a beat and just kept going on.

It was embarrassing but it was the presence of mind that helped me handle it so well. If you observe, after the performance I was crying because I thought, though nothing went wrong, I could have done better. But the boys and the judges have been absolutely amazing. They have been all praises.

Lady luck sure was looking my way because I got off easy with just a snap of a strap. It could have been worse and thinking about it gives me the goosebumps!

A nightmare which ended up putting the cool chick in the limelight – it takes nerves of steel to perform with a smile when you realize that your wardrobe's malfunctioning and the entire production unit is watching you shake a leg.
