Who do you consider to be the best music composer of all time? Please do bear in mind to judge on the quality not the volume (quantity) of their work. Feel free to add any I seemed to have missed. 😊

i personally love AR Rahman! he has been my favorite music directior since i was little, and will always be. his music is soo unique and amazing! his talent has even brought him world fame!

i also enjoy Ismail Darbar's music a lot too! his music is very unique b/c he combines classical and semiclassical in a lovey melodious way!

of course RD Barman is a legend, and has proven he is an amazing music director. i like his music a lot, but i really love uniqueness which i feel AR Rahman and Ismail Darbar showcase the best. i mean no offense to the great RD Burman.

Megha, Im surprised you dont have MDs like SD Burman, Naushad, OP Nayyar, Salilda and other veteran MDs..

My fav has always been SDB along with Salilda and Naushad.. I just love the scores of Burmanda.. I would definitely not compare HR, Monty, VS, Pritam to the veteran ones...

Yes, of this era I would say AR Rehman, SEL, Shantanu Moitra are the ones..

If you say music composer of all time-it has to be no doubt-Panchamda-R.D.Burman.cause his music was a sensation in 70's-80's and maximum number of remixes have been done of his songs.So past,present, future-for me he is the all time fave music director/composer.

Every music director has a unique style. They all together had made bollywood music popular. My fav is RDB, ARR & HR. They alone have given so many hits that many jodis of music comoper have not been able to give.

just wht i wanted to say 😊...Some of my fav MDs are Madan Mohan , Vasant Desai & O.P.Nayyar ......Other than that there are so many gr8 MDs like SDB,Salilda,Naushad ,SJ,Roshan,C.Ramachandra,Jaidev and many many more 😃I guess this poll includes MDs who appeal to the new gen .....Out of the ppl mentioned here ,I like RDB best..Next come ARR and ID 😊

If keeping same format, we let 10 000 people of all age group vote here then Pancham (RDB) will win hands down. He is actually a legend.
In the current gen A R Rehman and SEL are creative.
