Actor Abhishekh Bachchan rubbishes reports that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is ageing after replaced by by Katrina Kaif as ambassador of a popular diamond jewellery brand

After reports that former Miss World and Bollywood actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is being replaced by Katrina Kaif as ambassador of a popular diamond jewellery brand owing to Aishwarya's age, husband Abhishek Bachchan is not taking this one lying down.

The World's most beautiful woman and tinsel town's most coveted bahu, Aishwarya has stiff competition as Asia's sexiest woman Kaif readies herself to take over the throne.

It's more and more brands signing the rising star Kaif that seem to threaten Aishwarya's brand equity and the final nail in the coffin comes in with Kaif replacing Aishwarya as a brand ambassador for a popular diamond jewellery brand. Certainly the coup of the beauty queens is becoming a spectacle to watch out for.

So is it marriage or is it age that's placing Aishwarya on the back burner. "I would be interested in knowing about this new development," says Abhishek Bachchan.

Oops! Did we just strike the wrong chord? While hubby Abhishek is in no mood to give away Aishwarya's crown yet, we'll certainly keep a watch on this war of the beauty queens.

Media needs to sell their stuff and thats how they keep theri job.

i saw his interview on zee ..where the reporter asked him about katrina replacing aish, and he got really miffed with the reporter. He asked him to show the quotes from endorsement company where they said they replace aish caz of her age and all! he was actually looking pissed all along..reporter also asked him about Amitabh's blog where Amitabh accused some BIG bollywood Celebrity of stabbing his tour..and to that , Abhisek said.."you should go and read his blog again"
