The new releases of the week Mission Istanbul and Money Hai Toh Honey Hai were also affected but the reports of these films were pretty bad so they were unlikely to do well even if there were no disruptions.

Kismat Konnection managed 4.50 crore business over its second weekend to take its total to 25 crore in 10 days. The film was badly affected by the bomb blasts over the weekend. The film had shows closed in Bangalore on Friday and Gujarat was closed on Saturday evening and Sunday while Indore and Bhopal were also closed by the governement.
Security alerts at other places around the country meant footfalls over the weekend were much lower than a normal weekend. Despite the drop it will still emerge a success.
