Ram Kapoor talks about his favourite co-star of Kasamh Se and admits that he has started missing her...
Ram Kapoor says that he misses Prachi Desai. Now, that she has quit Kasamh Se for her movie debut, Ram says that he can't help but admit that he was 'attached' to her.
Says Ram, "Both Prachi and I have been doing the show since its inception. We have worked for more than two years now and are great friends. She was much younger to me and I was extra attached to her. But, she has moved on in life, but as a co-star I miss her a lot. We are always in touch with each other."
Since Prachi's exit and Gurdeep's replacement, Kasamh Se's storyline as also changed completely.
"There is a huge change in the storyline. New tracks have been introduced after the generation leap," he adds.
So, how's Gurdeep as a co-star? "She is a fantastic co-star and an amazing actress. It's always a pleasure to work with people who are good and professionally stable," he adds.
Who's a better actor between Prachi and Gurdeep?
"They are both fantastic. For me Prachi would always be the original Bani as she has played and lived the character since the inception and for more than two years. But, I admire Gurdeep who has the guts to take up the challenge and step into someone else's shoes. It's just more than a month and we are yet to see her full potential, but I have to admit she is doing a brilliant job," Ram says.
After his wife Gautami Kapoor, Ram has declined Ekta Kapoor's Kahaani Hamaaray Mahabharat Ki. He was supposed to play Dhritarashtra, but he chose not to do it.
Ram says, "Yes. I was approached for Mahabharat but I am not doing it."
When asked about the reason, he says, "I just want to do one project at a time. I am already busy with Kasamh Se and it takes up a lot of time from my daily life. Moreover, I want to focus on one role at a time so that I can give my creative best."
