JULY16: SANKHMANI AND ADVENTURES

Part1: Aaryyan meets mermaid and funny genie

Aaryyan rides on and on. Finally he arrives at a place which has got misty walls. Semi transparent walls and Aaryyan tests by passing his sword and finds that his sword is getting though but cannot harm the wall.

So he decides to ride through the wall and reaches a new place.

[Incidentally Aaryyan has been reaching the same place for over 4 episodes now, lack of interest from producers too? What happened to locations?]

Aaryyan roams here and there and comes across a beautiful large white shell. He decides to keep this beautifully carved shell and then his eyes fall on a unconscious girl.

As his nature he goes to her. The girl gets back her senses as soon as Aaryyan reaches there and she is scared

A: do not be afraid. Who r you?

G: that?s my shell

A: ok, I found it lying over there, so I took it, if its yours then take it. Are you in trouble? If so tell me, I may help you. [ always the chivalrous helper]

G: well, yesterday the storms blew me here and now I cannot go back to my home, please help me go back to my home, please.

A: ok, where is it

The girl points to the lake, inside the lake. Aaryyan first thinks it is some kind of joke and then she insists that is where she lives.

She then asks him to carry her to the water.

Aaryyan lifts her and carries her to the water.

As he moves it seems the water is not touching his feet though the lake is deep, very deep.

Then suddenly there is turbulence and Aaryyan just slides down through water. [ water lift ]

Then as per the girls instructions Aaryyan puts her on a rock and she changes back into her mermaid form

Aaryyan is really surprised. The girl introduces her self that she is MATSYAKANYA . Also she takes Aaryyan?s introduction. After that she wishes to gift him something.

Aaryyan politely refuses.

She gifts him with the shell and then with her power drives him to the surface of lake.

Back there, Aaryyan sits by his horse and is trying to see the shell. Almost by reflex he rubs it and out comes the blue funny genie

[And then we know we r to get something we always missed, some fun]

True to our expectations, the genie is a funny helper who over and over asks Aaryyan to demand a boon. Aaryyan does not need any boon.

The genie is really surprised and very sad , he is afraid that some one may here that Aaryyan does not need any wishes from him.

He keeps on coaxing Aaryyan for the three wishes which he can grant. After all he is the keeper of the SANKHMANI.

[ a mani without the typical mani look, kewl ]

Aaryyan now is interested.

A: I need this mani to save my family, my parents, my subjects, give this to me

G: ree baba, ask for something else, I cannot grant it

A: if you really want to grant something, gimme the mani.

G: ask something for yourself

A: no

G: never seen such a weirdo. He is supremely frustrated.

Anyways the sun sets, Aaryyan walks, genie follows him eagerly, he is desperate to grant this unwilling man a wish.

Storm comes. Aaryyan takes shelter in a cottage.

The peasant acts very homely to him. He gives him fire and goes to bring something for him to eat

Then it is found that the peasant and his wife foolmati are very evil. They plan to rob Aaryyan of his possession. From his dress it seems he is a rich person

[foolmati is none other than queen kaikeyi, she ha a penchant for playing evil ]

Part2: 3 wishes of evil peasant

The man comes back, gives Aaryyan food. Then he starts small talks with him and in the meantime puts down his story of untold misery. Aaryyan is so full of sorrow for him and his family. His wife and his daughter komal.

In the meantime, foolmati brings milk for Aaryyan. Aaryyan drinks it, his head swirls and he drops down unconscious.

Its morning. Aaryyan wakes up to fin himself stripped of his wealth, possessions, sword and tied on a CHOWPAI.

Aaryyan is angry and frustrated.

A: I do not believe that you can do this? I came for shelter. Had you asked I would have given it all.

The peasant and his wife are busy with sorting things and juts snort at Aaryyan.

They plan to sell his stuff but before that decide to clean them. As foolmati rubs the shell out comes the genie. [ Aladdin! ]

In one breath the genie talks of his three wishes only to realize its not Aaryyan who called him. He is bound by his word.

The peasant asks for wish.

Aaryyan keeps repeating, don't do such a thing, its greedy. No one pays any heed.

Anyways the farmer's first wish is

GRANT THAT MY HOUSE IS FULL OF FOOD

So happens, the family is overjoyed.

Aaryyan is totally frustrated and he repeats his warnings.

No one listens. Genie disappears in the meantime [wow Gaurab! Looking cool ]

Then comes the second wish. It was THERE WHOLE HOUSE GETS FILLED WITH CLOTHES.

And so happens. they are clad in royal garments.

Now the greedy farmer sees Aaryyan's golden locket and asks for MIDAS TOUCH as third wish.

Aaryyan is shocked to hear this.

The genie says: as you sow so shall you rip. And he grants this wish.

The farmer rushes to his family, out of his joy. Whatever he touches turns to gold. He touches his wife and daughter and they turn to gold too.

Now he exclaims: oh what have I done.

Part3: Aaryyan again to rescue

The man breaks down and laments. Aaryyan frees himself of his bond and comes near him. He offers the man a glass of water but it turns to gold when the man touches it. He cannot even drink now.

His lamentation increases: oh ! What have I done ! What have I done!

M: take this Sankh and just leave. I should have listened to you.

A: I cannot leave you like this.

And the good prince promises to help him

He calls the genie, but the genie cannot take back his words. He further advises Aaryyan : you should let the man get paid in his own coins too.

But this noble prince cannot do it, so he leaves.

He goes near the lake and blows the shell. The mermaid comes up to him.

A: I need your help

Then he narrates her whole story.

M: you are so good! You could have had those wishes on your own. I will help you

See the rock? There is a flower over there and its juice will make everything all right. But be careful the tree is carnivorous and dangerous. By my boon, you can walk on water and get it.

Part4: Aaryyan gets sankhmani

Aaryyan walks to the flower, as he is about to pick it up, a whomping willow from Hogwarts springs up and attacks him. Aaryyan fights with it, [ a little neat piece of his sword work]

Finally Aaryyan stabs the tree on its root. The tree vanishes and Aaryyan takes the flower.

He goes to the crying man and pours the juice of the flower on his lips. As soon as it is done, the man gets back his old form.

The man and his wife and his daughter comes to his feet. They ask for his forgiveness.

Aaryyan forgives them.

He gives them a lot of advice regarding good, bad, evil and greed.

Then he gifts Komal the flower and leaves.

They give him the sankh mani back.

Aaryyan is beside the lake, again the genie comes. He is like a leech wanting Aaryyan to have a boon. He even suggests that Aaryyan may want to be invisible.

Aaryyan stares hard at him.

The genie shuts up

Aaryyan laughs and moves on.

The genie, with his voice trailing by, still tries to persuade him. He looks back.

Genie says: ok! I will shut up now.
