The scene where Bheeshm fights a fox was a direct lift from the movie 300 but it was just very poorly done...why cant they think of something original...the story is so powerful taht we dont need to copy another movie...will they have some movie songs too now? 😆 😉

Exactly what I mean, that people are relying on Ekta's version to teach the youth (who have not seen the first series) about the actual events which took place but she is messing around with the original story to 'dramatise' it. I consider this a blasphemy.

I would recommend people who havnt seen the first one to either read the original book or watch the first series but dont rely to Ekta's Mahabharat to deliver what should be the truth.

I agree with Pari ji - the book is definitely worth a read! Thumbs%20Up
I've not seen 300... but when I saw the elephant come out, I immeadiately thought that we were going to see a lift from Jodha-Akbar 😆
In the book, there is not much written about Devavrat's time at Hastinapur leading upto King Shantanu becoming mesmoriszed by Satyavati Devi... and so I'm not too surprised that the makers chose to put in a few scenes like that! hehehe.
God bless.
