"Some years back, it carried a feature on what the world would be like without Osama bin Laden. I kept that article with me, planning to pursue the idea in my own way someday," says Lakhia, who was in the Capital with his cast, including Viveik Oberoi, Zayed Khan and Shriya Saran. Set in the lost-in-time locales of Turkey, the movie, which will hit the cinemas on July 25, deals with terrorism and its effect on journalism. "A journalist's job is a tough one," admits Khan. He plays a scoop-hungry television journalist who gets recruited by the channel Al-Johara that is rather famous as the mouthpiece of a terrorist. That seems like a take on Al-Jazeera, but Lakhia would not comment. The movie, co-produced by Ekta Kapoor, has Balaji favourite Shabbir Ahluwalia playing the terrorist. If terrorism or television journalism is not your idea of a matinee, then Lakhia has got Abhishek Bachchan doing an item number. "He is a friend and has done it for me," says Lakhia.
