After the ITA, the Indian Telly Awards 2005 are the next big thing

After the Hero Honda Indian Television Academy awards, it's now time for another television award function to make its presence felt. On November 27, Indiantelevision.com will host its fifth annual awards at the Chitrakoot Grounds at Andheri. "As we enter the fifth edition of the Indian Telly Awards, we have experienced sweeping changes engulfing this industry. Hence, we have adapted the awards to accommodate new categories to honour diverse talent in the industry. With every year, we promise to bring a yet bigger and grander event," says Anil Wanvari, CEO, Indiantelevision.com and Founder, Indian Telly Awards. This year, a new category called the 'Best Reality Show' of the year has been added taking the total number to 89 awards, 36 of which are in the popular and programming category.

A jury comprising over 25 prominent members of the industry sifted through over 2000 entries received from over 100 production houses all over the country to shortlist the nominees. Nearly 25,000 votes were garnered through the online polling process.
