Ashu: Ticket to Hollywood?

Ashutosh Gowariker is busy starting work on his next film What's Your Rashee? starring Priyanka Chopra and Harman Baweja.

However, that hasn't stopped the director from dreaming of other projects. Buzz is, Ashutosh is keen to work on a Hollywood film and has been having meetings with his agents there.

Cashing in

A source says, "Post Jodhaa Akbar, Ashutosh has got immense recognition in the west. This is a good time for him to cash in on the success of the movie. Ashutosh met ICM (International Creative Management) who handle his work in Hollywood. Even though details are yet to emerge from the meeting, Ashutosh has locked on to a project which may start in the coming year."

Recently, the director was also offered a 30-35 crore deal with Reliance for a series of films. But Gowariker has yet to give his nod. "He isn't yet sure if he wants to take on the deal. At the moment he is busy casting for his second film after Rashee that is titled Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey. This film will go on floor some time in May 2009."
