The trials n tribulations of TV lovers have struck a chord.kumkum's
hit pair kumkum-sumit (played by juhi parmar n hussain kk) are also a
big hit, never mind if the latter was her brother-in-law in the
original story track of the serial."they look very comfortable with
each other," says nayna dixit, a collegian who thinks the on-screen
couple's chemistry is what she'd love to share with the man she
marries someday.
The actors have a different story to tell though.it's all about their
acting prowess."but, that apart, off-screen rapport also
helps,"points out actor hussain kk."you don't have to be in love with
your co-star to come across as a hot couple.juhi and i have a very
good rapport.we have become friends over the last two years of the
serial.so, there's good understanding and that's what comes across on
screen. there's also another advantage when you are friends,"he
adds,"there's no one-upmanship. it's all about helping each other in
our scenes."
Juhi too echoes her co-star's opinions "What we share is an
amazing friendship - earlier I was not so comfortable with the
romantic scenes because I didn't know him well. But Hussain is such a
gentleman and a great friend too and that is why we have become
such a popular on-screen pair."

Onscreen sparks sometimes fly out of the frame. Reportedly, the
latest to have been hit by reel-to-real chemistry is Hussain, the
boyish-looking TV star and anchor, and telly actress Juhi Parmar. On
his recent trip to Lucknow, Hussain went blue in the face denying
these rumours. Here are his arguments:
"I'd take credit for being as good an actor as Shahrukh Khan, thanks
to these rumours. After all, much was said about the chemistry between
Shah Rukh and Kajol due to their great on-screen pairing. Similarly,
perhaps people find Juhi and me so perfect on television that they
assume that we must be having something between us," Hussain reasons.
But what about the P3 pictures that appear regularly Hussain and Juhi
hand-in-hand enjoying each other's company. "There's no denying the
fact that I share a comfort level with Juhi and we are good friends,
but that's about it."
Over with the 'we are good friends' routine, Hussain (full name :
Hussain Kuwajerwala) talks about how career-wise he's just going up,
up and up. "I've taken over a game show, which has seen unprecedented
popularity. And if the makers cast me in somebody else's shoes, who
incidentally was extremely popular, I'm not upset about being the
second choice."
And just for the record, Hussain is just biding his time on TV, for he
intends making it on the big screen. "SRK is my ideal. I hope to be as
big as him someday."
