Comic Relief - Credit to the Extra

For a change, lets dedicate a post to the Humble extra's. Their the ones who make a scene or a location seem more realistic. Without them, a hotel scene wouldnt look like one. A party or social gathering would be incomplete. The injured/ailing/out-of-action lead actor would not be able to recover. After all, i havent really come across a lead actor in the role of a doctor or nurse or even policemen! Ramu Kaka deserves a mention too.

So, lets take some time time out to acknowledge their presence given the meagre remuneration they earn and the extremely little attention they get.

P.S. - at least its Time Out from talking about lead actors of this show. and PLEASE treat this post in the most light hearted way possible.

😆 The most outstanding performance by an extra has to be the 'brain-not-working' doctors. 😆 Anyone else worthy of mention?

Two reasons why I posted this (a.) - A LOT happened in the forum today. If u've been up to date with all the posts, ull know what im talking about. The forum was rife with tension and anger and misunderstanding that i just felt like talking about something we havent spoken before or just anything that would help deviate our thoughts. Although that may take a while, i just felt like doing something ridiculous or outta the blue and the idea of this post came up. And what better way than to talk about people we DO NOT usually talk about!?!? oh well, kinda like this silly game where u ask someone a weird question, and somebody replies with an altogether vague answer... bottom line, to cut the tension, come up with something stupid or pointless!! anyway that was my tactic or method.... in neednt necessarily have to work... but hey, i tried!

(b.) i read an article that recently ran in a leading Indian daily about how these extras and 'spectators' get paid and/or are treated by production houses. People who throng the backgrounds of our TV sets watching every reality show. Those that come to the studio only to play audience and get paid to do it. Because of them....

So, yeah these two points generated this seemingly uninteresting post. and because of point A, I called it Comic Relief!! Done. 😃

BC, how about the drivers? They'are always driven to or drive someone else to the desired location only to be left stranded there or unheard of after that, more often than not. What are the chances of seeing them return home? slim to none

Bee, a good diversion. I wish to make a special mention of the pretty nurse who we hardly get to see. Poor girl comes decked up in her makeup and there is hardly a couple of seconds we get to see all that effort!
