Ranbir Overrated?

Anyone think Ranbir's overrated?

I mean he was VERY annoying in Sawariya...which I couldn't bear watching...I felt like crying while watching it..it was so ridiculously slow.

And I presonally didn't find the towel dance very hot...

he looks much much better in Bachna Ae Haseeno... nd he looks good in real life tooo.

SO i'm not exactly sure what all the hype was about regarding him...I wasn't very interested after Saawariya. Your opinions?

I agree with you. i didnt understand the hype over Saawariya, it was soo slow i had to walk out of the theartre, he does look better in BAH. I dont think he is overrated but he is hyped up only because he and deepika are going out..

Saawariya was def. over-hyped. Before the film released, the cast was promoting the film everywhere, making us think that the movie was another Maine Pyar Kiya. Sadly, the movie was a BIG let-down! To this day, I cannot tell you what the story of the film was....because frankly there was no story! The songs were beautiful, but that's about it.

As for Ranbir, I have to admit that he did overact in some scenes, but I blame SLB for that not Ranbir. I don't think there was much Ranbir could do, he was given a totally ridiculous and slightly annoying character! BEH looks slightly better, but I'm not too impressed with the promos of that film either!

However, I do think Ranbir is talented. He just needs the right platform to show it and sadly, Saawariya was not it!

Sawariya had the best story , no doubt it was slow and steady, but was really nice story,

and Ranbir is cute, he just needs to work on his acting, that's all 😳

I never saw any of his work, as far I know he has only one release til now, which is ''Saanwarya'', which I haven't seen it yet, I heard alots of negative things about the film, so I haven't watched it!!!!!!!.......

I don't know about his acting skills, I don't know if any of the other films which he is working on is released or not!?!!?.........

yep saawriya was deff over hyped, it was too slow, i got a headache from watching it, I don;t know how people watched in the theatre's. Ranbir does look better in BAH, hopefully it will do better then saawariya. also the towel dance was ridiculous.

I'm not a Ranbir Kapoor fan but I do think he is a good actor and has potential to be a successful actor. But this isn't just the case with Ranbir Kapoor, so many newcomers are over-hyped after one film and it's mostly the fault of the media. They make them into stars overnight and forget the fact that they need to prove themselves as actors first- then they can be considered a star.

But Ranbir is good and I like him 😊
