The mercury soared last weekend, as the city's hottest partygoers turned up in full force at Mauve.

The parking lot, packed with beamers, convertibles and SUVs, was a true reflection of how the city's rich and powerful have developed a strong liking for this sushi lounge.

Jay Pawar, who came in with his friends, chilled out in the VVIP section. Amit Palve arrived in style along with some friends from Mumbai, and he, too, headed to the private section of the lounge. Gautam Ladkat came with Malav Shah and Anuj Goel and the trio had another huge group with them.

Amit Bhosale arrived with his entourage and headed straight to the VVIP section where he was catching up with everyone. Popular television stars Ali Merchant and Jay Bhanushali were the cynosure of all eyes as soon as they entered the lounge. Shardul Byas brought in his birthday at Mauve and ensured that the bubbly flowed non-stop.

If the place had the aura of powerful and suave men... how could the femme fatales be left behind? Chanda Patil was there with her friend Rasika Karnik who had come down from New York.

Also in town was Hemant and Gauri Naiknavare's beautiful daughter Nikita. Priyanka Mohite, back from her Dubai holiday, looked stunning and Siya Malhotra looked charming as usual.

Minnoti Aurora joined Chanda and gang, while model Tasneem Jamal came in with her sister. DJ Ivan ensured that all the posh people had a rocking time at the lounge and heated up the scene with some great music. With a super crowd, great food and good energy, Mauve was the place to be.
