Why I Will NOT Be Watching M.I !

At the store
A (The dvd/cd seller) : Ahh madam, we got nice cds this week, Love Story 2050.
BC : Mmmph, actually, do you have Mission Istaanbul?
A (looking puzzled) : Ya, but why do you want that cd? Very nice songs on Love Story.
BC : Ummph no, I'll take Mission Istaanbul.
A (dubious, knowing my penchant for mushy dvds/cds) : Okay but it's not like a Shah Rukh movie.
BC's Mum (coming to see what I'm buying) : Which cd are you buying?
BC (mutters) : Mission Istanbul.
BC's Mum : Why are you buying that one? Why aren't you taking the one with Priyanka Chopra and that guy who looks like Hrithik.
A (exasperated) : I told her madam, such nice songs on that cd but she wants this one.
BC's Mum (shocked, looking at the cd cover): Since when do you like Vivek Oberoi?
BC (through gritted teeth) : I don't like Vivek Oberoi!
BC's Mum (still puzzled) : Are you buying it for T ? (T being my 10 yr old cousin who has a crush on Zayed Khan)
BC (trying to keep calm) : No but see it has Shreya Saran. (Sivaji was a huge hit in SA)
BC's Mum (even more puzzled) : So, you are buying this cd just because of her?
BC (cracking under the pressure) : No, No, No! I'm buying the cd because of him. (jabbing poor Shabbir's picture with my finger).
BC's Mum : Who's he?!
A (looking at me pityingly) : Madam, he is a new comer, never saw him in any other films.
BC (defeated, weary) : He acts in soaps.
BC's Mum (the soap fanatic) : Which soap?
BC : It was one on the test channel we had for 2 weeks.
A (even more pityingly): Okay, I'll sell it to you at cost price.

In the Car
On hearing the title song
BC's Mum (horrified): What is this ?!!!
On seeing the album cover again
BC's Mum : I prefer Wentworth Miller as my son-in-law.

If this is the grief I got for just buying the music cd, god only knows how I'm going to explain to anyone why I want to watch the movie, yet alone get someone to watch it with me. 😆

My mom also discovered my secret crush for Shabbir recently, right after SPA... Well, she didn't say anything to me immediately..But when she saw him again, she very sweetly said- 'I'm sure I'll find someone better for you'! 😆 😆

Bc I just can imagine your turmoil everytime they start singing "Meeessssiiiiiooooonnnn Iiiiissssttttaaaannnbbbuuullll" my brother's like Bull Shit and switches the channel knowing exactly my depth of passion for milsi. It'll be a miracle if it airs in my country on cinema and even if it does I won't be able to go watch cuz no one will be willing to go along. My last hope my cable guy maybe he'll have pity and air it on his DVD channel...

lolllll BC---i had a similiar experience when i went to get tickets for sarkar raj 2 weeks ago with my cousin, my sis and my aunt;
the MI poster at the cinema in cape town is the one that has VO & ZK 's pic --a humongous pic and a tiny shabbo pic in a corner--and I told my sis, "I am so watching this movie", and she grinned at me and my aunt overheard and was like--"whatttttt; werent those others you like enough that now you like this saathiya person as well" , and I was like "this has nothing to do with Viveik",shocked by this time that she knows of who all i like and my sis mockingly was like--"she wants to watch it for Milind"; and my aunt goes, "Milind,who is Milind; ohhh that Milind; since when is he in a movie haaiii haiii sheeniiieee; how can you like HIM??he isnt even sona...
and i m like--please you have nooo idea
and she's like--and you girls have no shame
