Nishabd actress Jiah Khan was desperately in search of a home in Mumbai and was helped out by his Ghajini co-star Aamir Khan.
Reveals Jiah, "Aamir helped me to find a new house in Mumbai suburbs. The reason I was in search of a good home was because my mother is very old and the flat in which I used to stay earlier had no lift. I used to stay on the 6th floor. It was almost 4 months that my mother had come to stay with me and it was really difficult for her. This affected my shooting schedule and I used to carry this tension on sets. Aamir realized this and introduced me to an estate agent. I'm grateful to Aamir that he solved my problem."
Praising Aamir further, she says, "He is a great man. As a child I used to watch all his films and I had always dreamt to working with him. During the shoot he is quite relaxed and more importantly very dedicated to his work. He used to come on sets sharp at 9 am. For this film I have learnt Hindi dialect and he helped me out a lot. He is such a brilliant human being."
Further, about the stunts in the film the Nishabd girl replies, "I can't give you details but here also Aamir helped me a lot. This was the first time I was doing stunts so I was really nervous but he gave me moral support and was very patient."
Earlier, Aamir had also helped his other co-actor Shriya Saran in finding out a manager. He and Kiran Rao also assisted Rang De Basanti director Rakyesh Om Prakash Mehra during the Dilli 6 shoot.
