All that Ekta Kapoor has to be larger than life. Now as she ventures into the world of reality shows, she has brought in one of the most promising directors, Apoorva Lakhia and has joined hands with Suniel Shetty's Popkorn Entertainment. Ekta is leaving no stone
unturned to make her reality show Kaun Jeetega Bollywood Ka Ticket on 9X one big gala affair.

A source from the show says, "Naman Shaw, Jay Bhanushali, Dimple Jhangiani, Chetan Hansraj, Panchi Bora, Reshmi Ghosh, Twinkle Bajpai, Akashdeep Sehgal, Abigail, Karan Patel, Karishma Tanna and Rajsingh Arora have singed on the dotted line for the show. The participants are going to shoot a promotional music video for the show on 12th and 13th of June."

"There will be six teams and each team will have one celebrity couple and one non-celebrity couple," adds another source.

The winners of the show will act in Balaji's and Popkorn Entertainment's joint production film which will be directed by Apoorva Lakhia, who has films like Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost, Ek Ajnabee, Shootout At Lokhandwala and Dus Kahaniyaan to his credit. The movie is reported to be a multi-starrer with the non-celeb winning couple of the show. Ekta will cast four other couples in the movie besides the winning pair. These four couples will be leading faces from Bollywood.

"The movie is youth centric, so the producers are looking for young actors for the movie. Audiences will get to see participants acting and dancing in the show but it is different from other reality shows. This one is different and extremely interesting," remarked Nivedita Basu, Creative Head of Balaji Telefilms who also confirmed the names of the celebrity participants. The show is to be telecast for 2-3 months and its shooting is expected to commence from July.

Ekta's reality show judges finalized

Ekta Kapoor's first reality show Kaun Jeetaga Ticket to Bollywood will have four judges - Mahesh Manjrekar, Amrita Singh, Shabana Azmi and Zeenat Aman - each representing one zone.
Creative head of the show, Romy says, "The whole idea of selecting actresses as judges is that they actually have been through the entire experience. They know every elements of acting. Moreover actresses know much more about chemistry than actors."

He further adds, "Though Shabana and Amrita are going to be tough judges they are ones who will speak their minds and not be politically correct. Ekta also believes in the same policy and so she selected these judges. Zeenat Aman has seen both the sides of stardom so she knows how people are here. Finally, we selected Mahesh because he is an actor as well as director. All directors cannot act."

There were rumours of Jeetendra being one of the judges. About it, he says, "He cannot be a part of every show. He has his own charisma which was seen in Jhalak."

The promos of the show will be out within two days. "We have not selected the host but we do not want a huge celebrity so we may give a chance to a fresh actor."

32 contestants have been selected for the show which includes TV personalities. The contestants and their mentors will compete with each other. The show will go on air from July 6.

now what i saw in zee cine stars ki khooz ,according to tht format the participants hv to cosy dancing as well as cosy scenes as per the theme of the show as in bollywood one ha sto do every type of scnes including cosy scenes & cosy dancing ,now i wonder what type of scenes & dancing will panchi b doing with her male participant ?????? i am not happy at all !!!!

so only non celeb couples will get a chance to act in the movies !!!! well tht's great !!
