I am so disappointed with the creatives…

Firstly the two months or so (April-May) they gave of useless meandering between AR, just because they wanted to use that as filler episodes as they knew Shilpa was leaving. In those two months, they butchered Ridz'z character so much. If they didn't know what path to follow, then why call yourselves creatives, they had so many other issues on which they could have focused on, at the end of the day they are doctors, so there are many issues which they could have dealt with (Patient doctor interaction; like earlier episodes) and many other relationships (SK, AA, RM, more on SP) which they could have discovered. Instead they ruined one of the most treasured characters, just so that, when the new Riddhima comes in, it would be easier for the viwers to except her.

Secondly like many, I thought that the 2 months of insanity shown might improve and may be we will see some sanity in the storyline with the new Ridz. But I am sorry to say the past 3 weeks of the show, the only thing I have seen is the creatives recycling their storyline and going around in circles, I don't see anything new. The first week started of with the slogan 'dosti nibhani', which has been previously used. Gosh that was frustrating to watch…The only decent thing that came out of the first week was the AA candle scene, which was the only saving grace of that week. The second week started, with which it bought the most stupidest acts that they could have shown, running around the hospital with walkie-talkies, and wind blowing machines, and eye-locking sessions which were not needed at all. I thought they were in a hospital and not a circus. The saving grace of that week, most probably have to be the Shashank-Padma scenes.

Come the third week, and what do we see a wedding, why such a rush? The older generation marriage is one such an issue which is a very sensitive subject. I would have liked to see some interaction b/w father-daughter or mother-daughter regarding this subject. But no I guess, they wanted to show more AR scenes at the wedding, of which there was a galore off. The kitchen scene b/w AR was handled well, but for me I still don't think it could match the sensitivity or the intensity of the terrace and Basketball scene of AR, when Ridz found out about her being adopted.

Oh the most important thing, I seriously think, the creatives need to go back to the drawing board and look at their character sketch of Riddhima. I think we know her better than you do…what was that scene… where she is confused about her feelings for Armaan. When did that happen? She's already said "I love you" to him, (I am not going to use confession, coz it is not apt) and even in that letter, she had clearly stated that the reason they should not be together is because they are completely different, not because she doesn't understand her feelings. Only the actor's changed, not the character.

I think instead of just concentrating on AR chemistry, they should show some biology; Armaan's biological background. We still don't know anything about his family; this subject has never been touched upon. Actually not just Armaan's, I want to see some more of Rahul's too.

I guess I don't even think I should have any expectation with this show anymore, for me the peak of this show was b/w Aug-Feb. I think the creatives need to go back to their drawing board and do some serious restructuring of the show and the characters.

PS: Sorry for boring you out with such a long post.
No offence to anyone, it's my views. This is not bashing creatives, I am merely doing some constructive criticism.

Thank you all so much for sharing your thoughts, and taking the time out to reply to the post. Its just that the frustration was really driving me crazy after watching the episodes for the past 3 weeks.

@missing Vmars: Yor are right, they have ruined such a wonderful show in to something so useless. I also hope this post doesn't get closed. We all have rights to share our views regarding the programme, be it bad or good.

@~@$hm@~: Thank you for replying. I agree, they trashed her character just so it could be more easier for people to accept the new Ridz. It was a cheap trick they used. I agree the Shashank-Padma marriage was a wonderful chance to give us the old DMG back, but instead they rushed through that just so they can give more AR scenes...I was so frustrated about that. I couldn't have agreed more with this statement

Thats whats left me confused too..I feel like Riddhima is a totally different person. How they ruined the character with Shilpa and made it easier t understand since Sukirti is playing the character!Gosh!

Why do that? They could have still kept it like that when she was there for her last 2 months, instead they ruined it for us. And we were put through to watch those stupid pranks.
Even I don't know why I still watch it, but it still has some of my most fav characters; Armaan, Atul etc. If they ruin Atul's character even further then they have, then I am out.

Thanks @ meow23, funnycool- I don't think I have the patience to watch another week of wedding and just some more staring AR scenes. I hope we see some AA or RM or SK scenes.

Thank you all for replying, I am glad I am not the only one. And true it is a discussion forum, I guess many people don't like reading any criticisms about the track, that is why posts such as this don't get much response. But thanks again to everyone for replying and sharing your views, really appreciated.
