Jassi is history but television actress Mona Singh is still basking in its glory. Where television stars are raking in the moolah by acting in various serials and anchoring shows, Mona sticks to the 'one thing at a time' routine.

She is busy anchoring a show that revolves around makeovers. And who could be a better choice than Mona to anchor such a show. After all, her sole television serial set the trend of makeovers.

Ask her why is she still sticking to the concept of makeover and Mona retorts, "I'm the obvious choice for such a show. After all, I'm the one who started the trend of makeovers." But hasn't she ever considered working in a saas bahu serial? "Never. I can never even dream of being a part of a group of women indulging in kitchen politics. I don't wish to be just another face in the crowd after having worked in a brilliant serial like Jassi..."

The actress is rarely seen on the small screen. Is it a deliberate move on her part to space out her work? "I believe in doing one show at a time. I have been on television for just four years. I have done a serial, taken part in a dance reality show, anchored a dance show and currently my reality show is on air. I will soon begin working on another reality show. I think that is sufficient. I don't work for money. I am looking for quality in my work," says Mona.

Does she have any plans for the big screen? "Definitely, I am reading a few scripts and will finalise something soon." And what is being considered, a lead role or anything that comes her way? "I'm looking for some good work," says she.

Though she may be averse to playing a bahu on television, does she have any plans of getting married in the near future? "I am not even thinking about marriage at the moment," she replies a bit too quickly. And what about the love of her life? "Let's keep my personal life out of this," she says and ends it there.
